Spoiler:
|
One day I hope the Halloween episode actually airs before Halloween.
|
 "That's where stem cell research has led us?"
|
Doesn't the A.I. parody seem a few years... late?
And the second one... is that supposed to be a riff on "Battle Royale" or "Surviving the Game?" Kind of weak so far. At least the final segment has something to do with Halloween/horror. |

I'm a loyal Simpsons fan, but I found this TOH lacking. Still, some good jokes, especially Lenny's idea of heaven.
|
Not as great as others, but not as bad as some either. I give it a B-
|
Apu-D2.
|
The hunt was humorous...watching Burns blow away one Springfield resident after another. :)
Other than that, I agree, a pretty weak TOH ep. |
I loved the intro ripping The World Series.
|
"I'm Jerod from the Subway ads. I'm only a little overweight and sexually ambiguous." rotfl
|
I didn't care for it.
Apu-D2 was the only thing I laughed at. |
I enjoyed it.

Not too bad of an episode overall. |
I loved Homer's "Exorcist" bit in order to stay home from work and Apu's line when he's shot by Mr. Burns and resurrected as a bunny that "You can't kill a Hindu" then he's caught in a trap and yells, "Ouch, help me Jesus".
I enjoyed the episode overall. |
The baseball is boring opening was great, but after that --very few laughs.
|
Baseball was decent, but it would have worked so much better last sunday.
After that... What the flying fuck. I usually enjoy the simpsons and take it for what it's worth. But this year it was just terrible. The first two segments didn't even seem worthy of being Halloween segments. As bad as the seasons have been lately, they could have actually been episodes in themselves. The last one started off so well. It was funny and I thought it was going places but then it just... it just.. wow.. it just fuck'n blew up in our faces with suckage. I just couldn't believe it. |
I liked Homer's response to Lisa when she said that she hates the zoo because she feels sorry for the animals:
Homer: "In the wild, they would never experience boredom, obesity, loss of purpose. You know, the American Dream." |
 to the opening
:down: to the rest. Some good smiles, but that's about it. |

I'd highly recommend that you track it down and take 10-15 minutes to read it... a really great short story. You can usually find it in "Intro to Literature" books as a classic example of plot. EDIT: Or, you could just read it online. ;) http://www.classicshorts.com/stories/danger.html |
