I think the French are going to take a beating tonight.

I'm looking forward to the Sheryl Crow performances but I have a feeling Lance is going to tank as host.

Strongly agree.

Has there ever been an athlete who really did well on the show? And don't say Michael Jordan, because although it was fun to watch him (as he was the biggest star on the planet), his work on the show was pedestrian.

Anyway, I'm a big fan of Sheryl and will watch for her.

But that promo that ran during The Apprentice was frightfully bad...

I thought the Rock's first appearance was rather funny. At that time he wasn't a Hollywood name, just a wrestler.

Lance Armstrong was terrific in Dodgeball, I see no reason to think that he'll be horrible on SNL.

Jason Lee and The Foo Fighters (November 12th).

Should prove to be a good show... ('Though, at this point in SNL's game, I wouldn't be surprised.)

at first if it hadn't been for the black bars I would have figured the smoke alarm was a real commercial since they've been talking about replacing smoke alarm batteries all day on the news
then the music started

Does anyone remember the days of Jeff Richards as O'Reilly?

He was fairly good. Better than half the cast they've got now.
