Well, that was an interesting twist on the Patrica Wettig character. Yet another fast moving episode that simply flew by tonight. Sure, lots of implied violence, but it's a gritty show, and the stakes are high for all involved, especially with the reveal at the end.

Well, we all knew it was Patrica Wettig...but who'dathunk she was the VP?
And, how do we know it was Bellick who killed the cat?
Glad to see the three that died were incidental characters..

The reveal that Wettig was the VP wasn't surprising at all.
Why on Earth didn't LJ's step-dad hit the SS bastard in the head w/ a bat? Fuck his back! Hit 'em in the head!
That whole sub-plot is still completely unnecessary, imo.
They need to stop telegraphing who is going to kill the ultra-violent inbred son of a retard.

The conspiracy plot is still way too simplistic. Ooh, they planted a fingerprint, how original. If its going to be the focus of the second season, they'd better improve on it fast.
The rest of the show is still great though.

On the other hand - this show flies right by when focus on the goings-on in the prison. It more than makes up for the events happening outside the gates.

Normally the non-prison stuff is pretty boring, but multiple killings and a great ending made up for that a bit this week. Certainly opens it up for a lot more questions as to who the real killer is!

Wouldn't it be awesome if Scofield killed the cat to make Westmoreland torch the CO break room. And Scofield is really a fucking psycho, and his brother really didn't kill the VP's brother but was instead a serial killer the government couldnt find evidence on but they knew he was bad so the VP's brother sacrificed himself for the greater good to frame Lincoln. So the whole family is really crazy.
