Oh yeah. I was even trying to determine if the inside scenes were actually shot there.

Bikini screen caps, anyone?

I haven't seen this week's episode yet, but last week (the Touchdown episode) the Pawn Shop and neighboring XXX Video were suspiciously familiar, complete with a bright yellow sign. My friend was convinced it was a homage but I was sitting on maybe.. now that I'm hearing there are more throwbacks I'm starting to have to agree with him.

Oh my - Velasquez by the pool.

Randy was pretty damn funny as he kept talking in circles.

Quick Stop reference was classic... I actually laughed out loud a number of times during this episode...

Randy's "She's a woman and we're men..." speeches were hilarious...

"Hey Earl, does your hooker live here too?" Awesome...

If it hasn't already they should pick it up for a 2nd season....

Another great episode, but that Mexican maid chick is really annoying me with her "acting." Is it supposed to be that bad?

Spoiler:
Plus, where was Jamie last night?
She's hilarious in this show.

She's hilarious in this show.

Although i'm sure the country of Mexico would love to claim her, Nadine Velazquez is Puerto Rican.

I thought the same thing last week. As for this weeks:

"the rat catcher is full" - Randy referring to the pool filter. Scary!

I didn't even notice Joy was missing. I don't mind her but more screen time for Earl and Nadine isn't a bad deal.

Count me in with those thinking this should be an hour long show. Everything goes by so quick. The resolutions just seem so rushed.

Oh, I thougt Earl referred to her as the Mexican maid in one episode. Hmmm, I guess I was mistaken, sorry.

In any case, just replace Mexican witih Puerto Rican in my post about her.

I was worried that this show was going to drop off, but I'm being pleasantly surprised! There were a lot of good laughs in this episode.

I also didn't even notice we missed seeing Joy and Crabman until after it was all over. I'm thinking the bikini scene may of had something to do with my memory loss.....

Except for the gratuitous bikini shot, I didn't like this episode as much as the previous ones. No Jamie Presley either.

Another half dozen classic rock tunes this episode. I'm making a stand here. There is no way this show will remain entact upon the eventual dvd release. In four episodes we have had probably close to 20 classic tunes. At that rate 20th Century Fox is looking at 120 songs to get the rights to for a full season. I hope I am wrong though.

I emailed tvshowsondvd to see if they can pull some strings to find out if 20th Century Fox is securing the rights for its impending release.

They take care of video/DVD music rights before-hand these days. I doubt there will be a problem.

Yeah, I'm sure they are negotiated into an eventual dvd release.

This has turned out to be a solid series so far. Nice to see another comedy that doesn't just go for the "safe" laughs.

I mean, more shows need jokes about heroin.

Nah, you heard correctly... sort of. I don't think it was Earl that said it, but someone did indeed refer to her as a "Mexican maid". None of that matters though - most Puerto Ricans can play Mexicans on TV shows...

I'm just glad Jamie Pressly wasnt in it. I dont like her character and her one joke role has grown tiring even after a few episodes.
Last nights show was hysterical.

Now if they would just bring Scrubs back and pair it with and ditch Joey I would be a Happy Man.
