Not hooked yet, but I'll keep tuning in for awhile cause I like Townsend. This episode was so-so. Next week looks better.

This episode was a lot better than last week's.

I liked the 2 almost twists at the end, although I think we've seen this story done a few times before. Maybe an X-Files episode, or an original Kolchak?

Terrible..Kolchak in name only..this show could be called anything. Someone like Bruce Campbell would have made the character of Kolchak fun to watch. Which at least in the old show even if the story wasn't the best, Darrin McGavin was a treat to watch.

Bad actors, filmed on digital video(BADLY), and I just got the original Kolchak boxset, why would I watch any more?

I sort of liked this ep for the most part but IMO it would have been better theme wise to play an ep that had this much character focus later in the season. Ya know, as in when you know/care about the characters more..

all I was thinking near the end was 'Eh, guess we get a new girl on the show? Hope she is cute too" as he was stalking around the place.. that's not really right, one should be thinking --oh hope she does not die--, not just thinking about a replacement.. heh

Clearly not a good as the show they based it off but I like a darker moody sort of show so I'll keep watching at least a few more eps...
