No one else watched it? I liked the other ones better. I didn't like the plane setting, and like the more old town, woods environment.

Guess nobody watches Supernatural.

Well, if all the episodes were like this episodes, I wouldn't blame them. Why does the demon want to make airplanes crash and why does it want no survivors? No reason; just because it's demonic thing to do I guess. Part of the fun of the ghost story episodes was finding out who the ghost was and what it's motivation was. And even if that stewardess did have an inkling that something was up, I kinda doubt she's just let them assualt the co-pilot in the back of the plane.

yeah I always like to see what any givens show's spin on some bad things mythology is.. Sort of got robbed of that this ep.. In fact I think I pretty much was only half watching by the time the --smoke-- stuff went into the air vent.. Whoops..

I still like the show over all for what it is looking to be of course. I don't expect any real in depth story etc as much as just a creature of the week sort of vibe. So far the show at least a fun show to watch.. If they start to eps that focus on the deep sadness of blah blah blah I'd stop watching..

I still found it enjoyable even with lack of explanation in regards to the demon and its motives. But I'm glad that it did finally touched upon (although very briefly) their father's disappearance and the girlfriend's death. I was wondering if they were ever going to deal with them again.

What are the chances that they will resolve those plots by season end?

I thought it was another solid episodes. This show is easily one of my favourites of this season...scares the shit out of me week after week. I hope they'll tie up the Dad storyline by season end (and think they have to) but the girlfriend/mother storyline is going to be one of the big driving forces of season 2 IMO.

This show has yet to disappoint. I liked how they touched upon continuing the girlfriend and father storylines. It doesn't bother me that they didn't figure out exactly which demon was doing the possessing or why. It's evil. That's the only excuse you really need. Besides, it wouldn't surprise me if this factors into later episodes.

I thought it was ok. I agree it was good to see them pick up the dead gf and dad stories again.

The best soundtrack on TV as well.

Looking forward to next week

Did anyone else call Dean's number? I noticed it because it started with 866, which is toll free.

866-9073-3235

The message says:

"This is Dean Winchester. If this is an emergency, leave a message. If you're calling about 11-2-83, please page me with your coordinates."

I'm guessing 11-2-83 is the date their mom died.

WB has given the show a full season order of 22 episodes.

Great news. My favorite show thus far this season. I can see it getting even better with time. And what's funny for me is that this was the show that I expected to cut first and yet I know I'm already hooked for the rest of the season.

Good to hear that it got a full season, but they supposedly did this for Jack & Bobby too, and we know what happened there.

This episode was just meh. Didn't like the subject matter in it. The plane idea felt gimicky.

i like the show, it has a touch of comedy to it

i wouldn't mind seeing another lady stuck to the ceiling and then burning up...something about that is freaky

question on the last eppisode; when they were driving off there was something off the side of the road in the wooded area that seemed to be framed into the scene on purpose... anyone know what that was? i rewound and paused and i couldn't figure out what it was

Yeah, they gave away all mystery to the series in the first two eps and never recovered. AKA, not the same.

Jack & Bobby's ratings were terrible the whole way through. It only got a full season order becasue they thought if they moved it to a new slot it would pick up more viewers with the critical acclaim it was getting.

I really liked this episode much more than the other ones (excluding the pilot - can't remember if this was the third or the fourth). I liked the setup, the setting, everything. This series has been hit and miss for me, so hopefully it will be more hit than miss.

That is cool! I want to call.

I thought this ep was good. I'm not a great flyer so I'm always disturbed by media that deals with planes crashing, but I managed.

I thought there was a throw-away line in there, something about how demons don't need reasons, they just like causing havoc. So the motiviation thing didn't really bother me. I'm glad that they haven't forgotten about the girlfriend and dad, that they keep coming up. Interesting that their dad's phone message got changed recently.

Anyway, I'm glad they got a full season ordered, and I'll keep watching.

Sorry for the bump, but I'm just now watching this series from the start. They definitely explained during this episode that a demon does not have motivation for it's killings.

The thing that bothered me, is that they drove to the airport, got on the plane, exercised the demon, landed, and all of a sudden were back where they started from. Their car was at the airport they took off from, how the hell did they get back?
