Ooooo, another one. The first one involved CJ episode 4.6 "What Happens in Vegas Dies in Boston" and LV episode 2.9 "Two of a Kind."

Looks like Woody and Sam are gonna wrestle!

I don't much care for Crossing Jordan but since they are doing the crossover episodes with Las Vegas again, I'll be watching.

mikehunt 10-02-05 03:55 PM

another one?

DJariya 10-02-05 05:44 PM

I think the crossover is ridiculous, but I love both shows. Looking forward to it. I don't know how I feel about Jordan and Danny hooking up. Or Sam and Woody.

Goldberg74 10-02-05 10:36 PM

I'm gonna write my will on toilet paper!

LorenzoL 10-02-05 10:38 PM

Woody looked shocked to have the ring in his finger. Most guys will probably be dancing to wake up besides Sam.

Daniel-A 10-03-05 01:00 AM

Didn't see the thread. Reposted. Ouch. From the other thread.

Yeah Crossing Jordan doesn't normally get a thread. I don't mind being the only one who watches. I caught re-runs on A&E and didnt think it was bad. And Jordan has a really nice look.

I loved the crossover last season and loved the 1st half this season. The chemistry between Danny and Jordan is excellent as is the chemistry between Woody and Sam.

If I had my way half the season would be these crossovers. The shows are pretty different but crossover very very well.

Daniel-A 10-03-05 01:01 AM

Was that Mr. Wu from Deadwood? He rules.

B.A. 10-03-05 11:03 AM

Woody - you lucky fool. Loved the look on his face when he realized he was in bed w/ Sam.

I enjoyed the crossover last year, and I'm enjoying it this year.

Reading this I was pissed off at myself thinking that the Las Vegas episode was spoiled for me, yet I was wrong. Excellent.

Meh. I didn't like the very end. Danny taking RLC after Jordan basically threw herself at him, too, was in bad taste. I don't like the character RLC plays on the show, and if Danny doesn't get to end up with Mary I'd like him with Jordan even if theyre on different shows.

I like the idea of thsi crossover. It jsut works IMO.

Darrel Hammond saying Ed's guys would be on him before he could land a roundhouse. rotfl

I'm still abhoring LFB's character. She serves no purpose. The execs just wanted another recognizable face on the show. She doesn't fit in, her character blows, and she has no storyline. Boring.

Goldberg74 10-04-05 08:05 AM

Sam was... um... err... perky in this ep.

Woody's a lucky, lucky, lucky man.

"She thinks she's the Persian Paris Hilton."

B.A. 10-04-05 08:14 AM

The CJ ep was better than the LV ep.

Red Dog 10-04-05 08:44 AM

The 2nd part of the crossover was just basically a booty call crossover.

Didn't care much for these episodes. I don't even watch CJ, and I found the most interesting part of the 2 hours the lawyer-turned-biker story.

Is it me or does Rachel Leigh Cook still look like she is 17? She just looks way too young for Danny.

Don't ruin this for me. She doesn't look 17, she looks legal, she looks just fine.
They didn't really develop her character enough though (but then again, who looks for character development in Las Vegas), she sorta just showed up and made out with Danny.

Daniel-A 10-04-05 10:37 AM

Yeah the CJ ep was definitely the better episode. And I really couldn't tell how "perky" Sam was in the episode. I really need to start watching in HD.

apeyard 10-04-05 10:48 AM

I usually love LV and know it's cheesy and just a fun show but this episode was unwatchable.

Split personalities? The persian Paris going out with Woody and Sam to 3 Vegas clubs and still getting back before midnight?

I know you have to suspend belief for this show but you can only suspend so much.

I didn't mind the last crossover ep, but in this one, they just sort of ignored all the main characters personalities and put them in situations and gave them dialogue that that just seemed too fake.

I agree with this assessment. That's the same comment I made on last week Las Vegas thread.

Daniel-A 10-04-05 08:40 PM

17 is over the age of consent in most states. BOOYA!

theedge 10-05-05 09:28 AM

Okay, did anyone else think this was weird?

Danny goes out of his way to not be with the hot Delinda or Mary...

...yet he is gaga over Jordan?

And Woody is gaga over Jordan and ends up with Sam....

I would think Danny would love to have kept someone like Mary and not so into Jordan... I mean is she really that attractive?

No offense, but hotness doesn't always factor in to love. :gushes: :runs away:

Deftones 10-07-05 01:04 PM

OK, but not as good as last crossover.

One inconsistency that I saw was at the very end. They showed Danny and the realtor chick looking from the window out over the strip. That view was right next to the Rio, which means it was recorded at the Palms. But, when they show the exterior shot, it's that new condo development on the north strip, no where near the Rio. In fact, you can see a different view of the Rio in that shot. Being to Vegas so many times makes me catch little inconsistencies like that.

mikehunt 10-08-05 10:14 AM

the CJ ep was more of a crossover as the vegas characters that came over actually did something. Woody helping with the arrest of the asian mafia guy should have been saved for the vegas episode so that both eps would have actually been crossovers

MrX 10-10-05 02:22 AM

I agree the CJ episode was better, though I liked the Woody and Sam stuff on LV.

mikehunt 10-10-05 09:17 AM

Darrel Hammond was funny though
