Looking forward to watching this. Hope it remains "Season pass worthy". The pilot had me so let's see how this one grabs me.

I thought it was funnier than the pilot. The heartbreak montage was funny especially the "try a white girl" sign. Now that I'm done with Alias I can watch it live if the show continues to bring the funny.

Wasn't as good as the pilot, but it was still funny. I love the slap lines, "I'm gonna slap your name out of the phone book" from last week and "I should slap the black off of him" from this week .

I don't really laugh at the show, but I find it decent. The child actors are nothing to get excited about either.

Like My Name Is Earl, I think this was a step down from the pilot. It was entertaining enough to continue watching, though.

You can say that again. I'll be sorely disappointed if I don't hear more "that was 26 cents worth of chewing gum you just spat out!" scattered through the season.

I liked it better than the pilot, but it is probably because the pilot was shown in commercials and the internet for like 2 months! I practically saw the whole thing before it premiered.

The numbers did drop tho... still decent for UPN I guess.

And finally over on UPN, "Chris" saw its numbers slide 23.91% in households and 28.13% in adults 18-49 from its premiere last week (households: 4.6/7; adults 18-49: 3.2 on 9/22/05)

Agreed. Don't overdue it, but keep 'em coming.
Saw this episode and the premier. Man I really like this show and think it's funny. Yeah that dad is hilarious. I may tape this and dl Joey.

Just saw that yesterday, Comcast added UPN HD to my area. I'm excited about that, but Thursday at 7 is way to crowded. Glad it got the full season order.
