This one really makes me sad, I was a huge fan of Don Adams! Not only do I love Get Smart, but I've loved the cartoon Inspector Gadget ever since I first saw it when I was little.
Go go gadget indeed...

I feel bad for being selfish here, but I hope he had time to do some commentaries or interviews for the hopefully soon to be released Get Smart DVDs.
Get Smart was a favorite of mine growing up. I remember doing top ten lists when I was a kid, my top ten movies, tv shows, books, etc. I distinctly remember writing Don Adams name near the top of my top ten actors list.

He was Inspector Gadget as well. I guess he's go-go Gadget gone now.

He also appeared in a little Canadian sitcom called Check It Out.

I asked you not to tell me that!

Don Adams has passed away?

Adams was truly one of the great comedic actors of TV. He was truly what made Get Smart such a funny show with quotes like "Missed it by that much" and "...And loving it."
He will be sore missed.

Damn. devilpants is right, losing Frank Gorshin and Bob Denver was bad enough, but Don Adams too? All in one year. That sucks.
Don was a great talent, and a really funny guy. Ironically, I just bought Get Smart Again on DVD about a month ago and really enjoyed it. (If you haven't seen it I highly recommend it to fans of Get Smart. Much more than The Nude Bomb, Get Smart Again really captures the feel & style of the original show, and has some really funny parts. The cast just fell right back into their roles with seeming ease.) I hadn't seen this movie since it first aired.
I guess Don will be able to drive Ed Platt nuts for the first time in 30 years.
He will be missed.

Sad news indeed. Didn't his daughter just die in the past year also? I grew up with him as Inspector Gadget, but then grew to love him on Get Smart reruns. He's one of those people I know nothing about personally, but seemed like a wonderful person. Rest in peace..
