You guys don't get it. South Park had an episode that contained a chicken pox party. It also had an episode that was called "Simpsons Did It" that was about how all the good plots had been done first on the Simpsons.

Try to keep up, here.

Loved the couch gag. And also when Homer picks up Marge's bra. "Hey! I bought this for Marge's boobs!"

I guess it has something to do with TiVo. I don't have TiVo. But the gist is that everyone runs onto the couch and then a screen pops up that asks "Delete this recording?" The highlight bounces back and forth between "Delete this recording now" and "Don't delete" a couple of times before choosing "Delete this recording." It all lasted about 3 seconds.

Anyhoo, I liked this episode. I laughed out loud several times. The best ep I've seen in a while.

And the winner of the "one of the greatest quotes ever on The Simpsons" goes to:

"You know the Four Seasons? Yeah, well I'll be experiencing them because I'm living in the park." - Homer

Tivo thing freaked me out.

I too recorded it - on my DVR, but I also have a TIVO hooked up... I couldn't understand how a Tivo recording ended up on my other DVR.

Yes, on the show "O.C." that the Simpsons were watching, the characters went to Knottsberry farm, where they palled around with one of the mascots (a guy in a Snoopy outfit). At the end of the day he forced them at gunpoint to withdrawl cash for him at the ATM.

I actually had a friend call me, asking if his TiVo was going crazy, because a TiVo screen came up during The Simpsons. My wife and I were in the middle of watching another show and hadn't gotten to The Simpsons yet, and I immediately knew it was going to be a couch gag.

So my dumbass friend ruined it for me, but it was still good.

I also thought I was doing something with the remote when I saw the TIVO message.

I think the episode was OK, it seems the season is starting to get better.
