I'm surprised that nobody started a thread for this much anticipated show.

I'm watching the pilot for sheer curiosity.

Here are the some of the reviews for the show and is not good...

Has JLH in it. Two reasons for me to give it a chance.

While we're waiting, I think this thread could use some pics:

That Prison Break attempt by Michael must have really F'd him up. Gotta love the lightning effect on JLH's BBs.

This show is really bad, how they thought they could sustain a conventional 22-episode season with this material is beyond me.

It screamed tv movie.

Maybe the second episode will be better. JLH should do a sitcom where it rains a lot. Maybe in Seattle.

A little too schmaltzy for my tastes. The whole "helping people" angle won't be enough to sustain this. Like Tru Calling, I can't see this getting interesting until they add an antagonist to JLH.

JLH looked great but that's not really a shock.. Show wise it was average at best..

as for the antagonist angle, I think they are going for a Touched by an Angel or Highway to Heaven feel good sort of show.. Where it's just JLH being cute and helping people. Not sure that sort of show is going to work in todays tv market..

I don't mean that it could not work later being everything goes in cycles but right now we seem to be in a cycle of CSI clones and sci fi clones due to Lost being a huge hit.

Like Touched By an Angel =

Like Early Edition =

I have it on TiVo and haven't watched it but it sounds much more like the former.

JLH looks amazing, as always..but the show...I just dunno. Kinda have a hard time believing she's talking to "ghosts" or spirits when they cast shadows when in the light. Just get a feeling you can take this episode x 22 and you have the entire season...just can't imagine the stories changing all that much. But it's JLH, so I'll give it another episode or two.

I have a friend who works on this show and I want to support her, but, sadly, I forgot to add it to my Tivo.

Sonds like I didn't miss much.

Patman, I think that you are being too kind by saying that the show is "really bad". I'm going with "Terrible" with a capital T.

The writing is awful and the acting is amateurish (see JLH and Aisha Tyler for examples).
Am I the only one that thought that JLH didn't look all that great?

It's the bangs on JLH, not all that flattering for her.

I watched a little of this. The little that I watched made me cringe. They cancelled Joan of Arcadia for this!!! This and Love Inc are two worst shows that I have seen so far this season I couldn't even make it halfway through them before I changed the channel. I think people in the tv industry need to realize that just because someone is attractive doesn't mean they can act.

They know. But I'm guessing they think that since someone is that hot they can make it a popular show nonetheless. Couldn't finish the episode. Maybe if she were in a nightie the whole time. But eh, this brings teh suck. Probably will check out next episode just to see her and I am a glutton for punishment.

I really liked the show I didn't think it was as bad as everyone says it is. Of course JLH is easy on the eyes, I actually thought this show was scarier then Supernatural.

Strange, I actually bought JLH seeing weird stuff more than Patricia Arquette. This isn't a great show though. Thought it was hilarious seeing Wentworth Millier on this since he appeared and "haunted" in the last episode of "Joan of Arcadia." I hope his next stop is "Still Standing."

It was established very early she helps these people so it makes it really tough to actually feel any kind of tension when she's seeing ghosts.

Scary??? The ghost scenes are laughable at best. It reminded me of that scene in "Ghost" with Whoopi character being visited by other ghosts because she could hear Patrick Swayze's character. A similar premise is being used in this show in which the soldier's ghost came to her because he "heard" that she could help him.
