VH1 announces 'Surreal Life 6' cast, series to premiere in January

Cable TV's VH1 Tuesday announced the cast of the sixth "Surreal Life" season will include rockers, a former TV star and a Playboy model.

"The Surreal Life," a reality show about seven celebrities living together in a Hollywood mansion, kicks off its new season in January.

The housemates will include Sherman Helmsley, aka George Jefferson of "The Jeffersons;" Smashmouth singer Steve Harwell; Poison guitarist C.C. DeVille; 1980s Whitesnake video vixen Tawny Kitaen; Playboy TV's Andrea Lowell; and actress Alexis Arquette.

Florence Henderson, the matriarch of "The Brady Bunch" joins the show as an "on-call therapist/adviser," VH1 announced.

I read (online, so you know it's true!) that former WWE Tough Enough winner, Maven, was also in that cast.

First thing that struck me while I was reading the cast list - Actress Alexis Arquette? -lol-

Wow. I can't believe i actually love this show, but dammit i do.

They couldn't find a rapper this time? Were Tone Loc and Coolio BOTH unavailable?

Alexis Arquette, had no idea who this was... the only thing I recognize herm from is Wedding Singer. Does s/he even count as a D-list celebrity? Again, was RuPaul really THAT busy nowadays?

Is Tawny still hot or has she gone the way of Brigitte? -Shudder-

I've never heard of Andrea Lowell, but I googled her pic, she's hot... so okay.

Sherman Hemsley is movin’ on up to the The Surreal Life house for the show’s sixth season, VH1 announced Wednesday.

George Jefferson will join heavy metal sex pot Tawny Kitaen, Smashmouth singer Steve Harwell, Poison guitarist C.C. Deville, Arquette family member Alexis and Playboy TV vet Andrea Lowell.

Florence “Carol Brady” Henderson will be featured as a “special guest star” throughout the season as an on-call therapist/adviser.

The cast will get to select a seventh roommate from a group of "reality hunks.”

Former WWE Wrestler To Appear On "The Surreal Life"

According to MavenHuffman.com, the former WWE superstar has been tapped to appear on the next season of VH1's "The Surreal Life." The update Wednesday claims Maven is presently in California filming the show.

The official billing was that Maven would be one of the "reality show hunks" that fellow castmembers would get to choose as a seventh house guest. The cast includes Sherman Helmsely (The Jeffersons), Tawny Kitaen (Bachelor Party, Here I Go Again video), Steve Harwell (Smash Mouth), CC Deville (Poison), Andrea Lowell (Playboy) and Alexis Arquette (The Wedding Singer). The Brady Bunch's Florence Henderson will be appearing in a special guest role on the show.

There had been rumors that Maven - after his release from WWE - was looking to break into the entertainment business. This appears to be the first stage in said transition.

Tawny Kitaen is the perfect Surreal Life castmember. She's famous for exactly one thing.

I always thought Maven had a lot of potential. Hopefully if he shows some sort of personality, WWE will consider rehiring him.

I thought 5's cast was bad, but it's official they are fucking reaching!

This is a lousy cast. Only Sherman Helmsley holds any fascination for me. It might be the first season I skip. This has been a long, slow slide from a shockingly good show to total crap.
