I've got an entire channel. VH1 Classics. It's amazing. It harkens back to the days when music was good, the videos were fun, and music video channels actually played music videos. And while they cover music from the 60's-80's, most videos come from the 80's.

I just watched Billy Ocean's "Loverboy" (which is a spoof of the Star Wars cantina scene), Pink Floyd's "The Post War Dream" and The Fall's "Victoria". This is great stuff!

Definitely, <b>G vs. E</b>. One of my favorite shows when it was on. Wish it would make it to dvd.

Tv Funhouse was soo great!! I didnt watch it at first cause i thought it would be regurgitated snl and triumph jokes but every episode was really original and loaded with gags. They show it once in a while on comedy central late night but it seems they show the same 5 shows all the time. Unless they only MADE 5 episodes. Damn shame this didnt make it.

Recently, Committed. Great quirky sitcom that was charming in it's own way. With NBC cancelling this and Joey going down the pot (well more like not climbing out of it) and no new Scrubs for several months I don't have any sitcoms in my to watch list.

The Sketch Show. This was a great show. I hate how there is about 20 minutes of good material in an hour long SNL. This took that idea and was just a series of gags that were done in about 30 seconds. Very funny.

For current shows, I'll nominate "Tripping The Rift." I think this show is hilarious, but outside of a few friends, I can't find a person who's seen it or even heard of it.

Oh I have another one. That 6 episode golf show with Bill Murray that was on COmedy Central. That was the funniest thing evar.

You mean the one with all the Murrays on it? I saw an episode once, and it was just too much golf for me.

Was it all the Murrays? I didn't even know. I've only seen bits and pieces of it, but it really brought me back to a Caddyshack feel.

I always liked the Invisible Man when it aired on USA and SCI-FI. For a Brit show I would recommend Ultraviolet. I picked it up during the last DDD sale. I can't recommend it highly enough!

It was an animated show that ran on MTV a few years back. I loved that show, and willl be forever grateful to whom ever chose Fight Test by The Flaming Lips as the show's theme song.

I remember that one. The fact that it aired Saturday night at 8 pm probably didn't help it, either.

The show which immediately followed it, Dark Skies, is another good candidate for this list. First thing I ever saw Jerry Ryan on.

Another great one, which just got a proper DVD release - but only in Canada, where the company that produced it - Nelvana - is based. Guess it also got a bit of a longer run there, as MTV - where it aired here, didn't show all the episodes.

A show that lasted only a little over a season in the 80's
Its your Move. It had Jason bateman and David Garrison from Married with Children.

As far as the Tick, The TV show was mediocre, although Batmanuel rolled me.
Season 1 of murder one was awesome. The bald headed guy does a great lawyer. He was cool in nypd blue, and murder one died in season 2 without him.

People know about those shows. Whether they choose to watch them is one thing, but people have heard of them. I personally don't watch Yes Dear or Still Standing, but I still know of them.

The O.C. is just dying and Smallville needs help. I still watch both here and there. I have seen all available DVD seasons.

Here's one from the early 2000's that was stuck on a terrible day/timeslot. I ended up really liking the show and it was cancelled out of nowhere.

It was called "That's Life." It was about a woman in her early 30's who goes back to college (more fun than it sounds.) It was on CBS.

The Flash was great. Should be seeing a DVD release next year. There's a free bonus epsiode of the show packaged with Smallville Season 4.

My own pick, that I can't beleive I forgot - Crusade - the Babylon 5 spin off. Had a similar fate as Firefly, with the epsiodes being aired out of order, and such, due to network interference.

The X-Show, on F/X I believe Jason Priestly was one of the guys who hosted it. Came out before the Man Show and was similiar to the Man Show in topics but was actually imfortative with information you would actually care about while having cute girls, beer, ect... I really liked this show and wish it wouldn't have been cancelled when the crappier Man Show came out. Also Lucky on F/X with Aiden Quinn, pretty damn good show. Can't forget Playmakers and Tilt two ESPN series that don't get much mention. I know Playmakers isn't coming back because of the NFL cracking down but haven't heard much about Tilt coming back which I hope it does.
