They lived together, close enough. It's been a few months. :P Urkel was a guest star too. They should keep her on, or at least bring a new lawyer in when she leaves.

zap2it.com:

"House" built on FOX's lead at 9 p.m., scoring a 9.8/15 -- the night's best rating. CBS stayed in second with "Big Brother 6." The final half-hour of "The Biggest Loser" improved to 5.9/9, but its lead-out, "Tommy Lee Goes to College," came in at only 3.3/5, giving NBC a 4.6/7 for the hour. The premiere of "Supernatural" averaged 3.5/5 for The WB, just beating the World Music Awards, 3.4/5, on ABC. UPN's "R U the Girl" was sixth

Glad to see the premiere did pretty well in the ratings.

Did anyone else notice Chris Webber in the prison? I think he was the inmate who was giving his last meal menu to the guard. Maybe it wasn't him but it looked an awful lot like him.

Good premiere, and I'm glad to see it doesn't need AI to kick ass in the ratings.

Good episode, but not amongst the best.

I don't like the ex-girlfriend in the picture. I want House and Cameron to continue their sort-of relationship.

Love the Scooby line as well as the "Could've hit that" line.

Very good episode. The banter between House & LL when drinking the Johnny Walker was great
I think they were drinking Bacardi 151.

I think it was just a mock-up prop bottle designed to more or less resemble a couple of actual brands.

I could have sworn the bottle said "Bacardi 151" on it. Maybe I wasn't paying attention enough, but I thought the bottle looked exactly like a 151 bottle. Does anyone have a screen shot? Or does anyone that still has this recorded feel like checking?

151 would certainly make sense, since the whole point was to quickly put alchohol into his blood.

I guess it coulda been 151. I wasn't paying that close attention either, but I thought at one point I saw the label and it didn't look quite right.
I deleted this off my DVR otherwise I would check again.

I'm not a big fan of Sela Ward...they could lose her and I wouldn't shed a tear. And I didn't like the pink-ish lipstick she was wearing. It detracted from her eyes and clashed with the rest of her makeup. (You boys do know that women are much harsher judges of another woman's looks, don't you?) IMHO the young one is so dadgum young that it'd be like he's a pedofile. "Cuddy" is quite the hottie and she dresses the part. She sends him those come hither looks all the time....even when she's supposed to be telling him off. I think the two of them have so much heat that it would make for a nice bonfire, but it would ruin the show and be every bit as boring as when Sipowitz used to end up marrying the younger cop gals, etc. The fun is in the chase. (Not THAT Chase, he boring with a capital "B").

I like the show because House is such a unique character and who among us wouldn't like to be able to tell off everyone we see whenever we want and still come out looking like a friggin' genius all the time?

I like House for the same reason I fell in love with "The Closer".... no b.s.ing!

The cast of the this show has such good chemistry. Hugh Laurie is such a brilliant actor he could have good chemistry w/ a corpse.

The "I could've hit that" line almost made me spit out my beer.

Jennifer Morrison - I love you.

It looks like they took a 151 bottle and changed it around a bit.

B.A.

Hugh Laurie is such a brilliant actor he could have good chemistry w/ a corpse.
Or worse ... Chase and Cameron. That he can make interaction with these snoozer characters even somewhat interesting is just a testament to how good he really is.

Anyone know the name of the song/band near the end of the show?

I caught a line that seemed to refer to David watching Bathsheba bathe, but I forgot to re-listen before I deleted it.
