I really like this show (well maybe they could leave out the home front stuff). It has kept me glued to the tv every week.

I thought they were going to save Sipowizc' partner. When his head went flying I yelled out loud "oh shit! They killed him!" My wife ran into the room thinking I had seen something on the news and wondering who was killed. When she saw what I was watching she rolled her eyes and left the room.

Yeah man, I had that same reaction... I guess TV cliches lead ya to believe they were gonna pull it off. Good bit of casting, that. If it was just another actor, now matter how good, it would be like, "Oh shit, they cut his head off..." With this it was, "HOLY FUCKING SHIT! They cut off ZACK'S HEAD! That's Preppy's HEAD on the ground!"

I found myself feeling for smoke, right up untill that moment. I know the other two baddies had guns and you have to prioritize, but man, you got a SAW, couldn't you strafe a few rounds over to the dude swinging the big fuckin' scimatar at your boy's head?

And while we're at it, couldn't Zack have tucked and rolled? when I saw that blade coming down in the background of the shot of the first baddy getting hit, I was screaming, "Roll, dude, ROLL!" but he just sat there.... you can bet your ass that if the squad I was embedded with busted a door down and were taking people out and I had this asshole with a sword above me, I wouldn't kneel there with my head down, I'd be rolling like my ass was on fire.

I hope. Who knows, never been in that situation.
