Howard Stern E! show.

Just got a survery from one of the tons I do and this was in there:

When Howard Stern's radio show moves to Sirius satellite radio, his TV show will no longer be available on the E! Television network. Instead, the only way you will be able to watch Howard's' Sirius show on TV will be through a new subscription video on demand service offered by cable TV providers. For a set monthly fee added to your bill, subscribers to this new service will have exclusive access to see Howard Stern on television at any time they want.
So kind of is opposite of what quite a few people thought about his E! show once he leaves regular radio.

Howards In Demand channel should be terrific, UNCENSORED! just the way its meant to be seen...

The E! show is already no longer available.

Another charge just to watch the show... Bullshit. Obviously none of the pay-cable channels were interested.

And I'm trying so hard not to say it... Ah fuck it...

"Hooo Hooo Hooo, I invented On Demand services... Tell 'em Fred."

I had to...

I watched Howard's shows for his interviews with celeb's that I liked already and the rare musical performance. Not the blurred out tits. It seems I was in a minority as the reruns shown are just pornstars from what I've seen from checking the episode listings.

Methinks the in demand thing will flop, I can't see many people paying for satellite radio AND on demand service. What about people with different cable providers or satellite also?

All hail the "King of Pay-Per-View Media."

And Howard slogs towards irrelevancy.

And Howard always said he didn't want to "nickle and dime his audience to death".... guess he was more in for the $5 and $10 to death....

Hoo Hoo, I invented ripping on Stern. Tell 'em Fred!

Derrich 08-27-05 11:55 PM

I guess playing hardball with HBO and Spike didn't work out so well.

How long until the "I'm the number one show on On Demand!" speech that explains how more people watch Stern than old Sopranos reruns.

I love it how when ever there's a Howard Stern thread, there's about 2-3 posts discussing the topic, and then there is the inevitable O&A people rehashing the same tired jokes about Howard.

Well atleast this thread has been more entertaining than the Howard has been lately. :)

Anyway it is a pretty shit deal, amd he could be shooting himself in the foot. Although he'll probably lie about it saying there has never been anything more successful, and convince many into believing him.

He's making more money than he ever has, so good for him though.

You're absolutely right. This has become an amalgamated, mulatta, MONGREL of a thread. And BOTH radio programs will be destroyed!!!
