Rumour had it that they broke up just after he left G4.

Good news, good new.

Damn Comcast. It's not on their listing for the 29th yet.

Yup, me too. I know a lot of people can't stand Kevin Pereira, but I think he's pretty funny. And there are always at least a few interesting tidbits each episode.

With that being said, I'm also stoked that Leo and the gang are returning!

I was never a huge fan of Kevin, but after he left I realized how much he helpe the show. I still dont like the one host they have now, and the open casting call for the other host spot doesn't fill me with confidence. Thanks for the info movieking.

No Jessica Corbin, no sale. Seriously though I'm glad they're bringing the show back. I was a fan of the old Screen Savers and yes I even like Kevin Rose. Once it was G4'd my interest quickly waned. I still watch every now and then to see Sarah but I can only stomach 2 or so minutes of the begining and then I have to turn.

I believe Jesscia's main function was to point her legs at the camera at strategic times. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Anyway, she was on a Twit podcast a few weeks ago, and she just made it much less enjoyable to listen to. She added very little to the discussion of tech.

I don't mind having hot chicks on a tech show, but at the same time, they should know their stuff.

I didn't enjoy that podcast much either. I didn't know who she was, since I didn't get SS before, but she really didn't add anything to the podcast.

Speaking of Kevins, I guess some people don't like Kevin Rose either, but I like him, too. Sure, he's got the personality of a Chicken McNugget, but I love those Dark Tips!

Didn't they make her hang up due to "bandwidth issues".

I guess she's the opposite of a "face for radio". Just put her on when we can see her, and who cares if/when anything comes out of her mouth.

Leo was funny (in a dumb way) last week.... "Hey!! I got great news about Call For H.... Errrrr... I mean.."

Darn NDA's.

Anyways, like everyone else, I added a "Call" SP to my Tivo.

Anyone else notice that on the Now Playing list of a TiVo, Call for Help has the old TechTV logo?

The set and show are a lot less high-tech than the previous version. But, it's still nice to have Leo back on TV.

I enjoyed it. I think he could do with a cohost again, but other than that it was great. Much more like TSS than the Call for Help of old.

So are they going to run four months behind forever or will we eventually get new shows?

This is great news, now I will actually watch G4 for more than just those moments in the 7-8 hour when everything else is in commercial break and AOTS is temporarily watchable.

The first show was entertaining (Monday). I'm not sure I like the cohosts though. I did like the undertone of "Windows sucks and has all sorts of problems and Macs work wonderfully" however. I'll be watching again.

Damn Comcast still doesn't have it on the schedule.

So I'm just setting my dvr for whatever is on at 10:00AM(CST). Is the evening show a repeat of what was aired in the morning?

Are these shows old reruns or are they new? Leo was talking about a Safari/Dashboard exploit but I thought that was old news. Is there something new I'm missing?

Well, if you haven't seen them, then they're new to you!

I heard they are showing the canadian reruns.

He said that G4 bought some of the older shows as well, but they should be airing new ones as well. Yesterday's show in Canada was a rerun. Generally, there are one to three reruns a week, but you guys should be getting the new ones when we do, AKAIK.

Yeah, these were definately all Canadian. The callers were Canadian only and no mention of being on elsewhere... saw the TechTV logo at the beginning, that was kinda neat! All that Zed stuff....I live on the Canadian Border and never understood it..... but glad to have some decent programming back, tho the set is kinda cheesy, guess all the $$$ went into tech!?
