I just started watching just a few eps ago. I can't believe after loving "The Job" that I didn't start watching from the beginning. This is simply the best show on television right now. I'm lucky to have DVD!!! Season One is a good blind buy, if there ever was one.

I read Diane Farr is leaving to join that stupid show Numb3rs. FUCK! I hope they bring back Sully and not a chick again right away. Maybe after some problems with Sul

I'd love to see that. That's a bigger twist than putting a chick in the squad.
I totally see Laura and Franco together. It has been my experience that the player in a workplace usually hooks up with the (reasonably attractive) broad.

Very funny, very entertaining episode. Love Lou's analogy of the Godfather, and I was rolling when they were arguing about emotions and tits. The best part had to be Shawn getting punched in the face 3 times.

I hate to see Laura go, but would welcome back Sully at the same time. Another great episode this week -- the poetry conversation at the firehouse kitchen table was hilarious.

This episode felt like some kind of weird Selectra ad to me.

I was laughing so hard a few times I thought I was going to start crying.
Franco repeatedly punching Sean.
Sean trying to explain things to Laura about Franco, yet failing everytime.
Kenny and Jerry's reaction to Tommy.
Tommy praying before and after the game and all of his teammates and the NYPD team's reaction to him.
The Probie was funny, because we only had to deal w/ little doses. And Franco is much better when he is just a background character, too.

Outstanding episode. Having Tommy taking happy pills is a great direction to explore. Just showing his personality change so much really shows what a great actor Leary has become and how incredibly his character is. It's like, he gets happy and I get scared. Great stuff.

All great stuff.
The emotion vs tits discussion was fantastic.

Did anyone stick around and watch It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia & Starved after Rescue Me last night? New episodes were on so I'm wondering if they're using Rescue me as a lead-in?

That was fucked up. I pad my F/X recordings and noticed that it was a new Sunny in Philly episode. I don't even think F/X promoted it (didn't see anything on futoncritic). Looks like these same episodes will air in the normal slots Thursday, so I will catch them then. I guess F/X was trying to give them some more exposure.

Although it did bring about one particularly funny exchange. After the hockey game when the cops had all the FD guy's car's towed, the other player on Tommy's team said to the one cop that Tommy was being all nice too...
"I'm gonna kick yor ass!"
and the cop replies...
"See?! That's the kind of response I'm looking for here!"

Great episode. Tommy getting happy was really really funny. Hell, everything was funny. Loved it.
It was cool seeing Jon Benjamin make a short cameo as the guy Kenny roughed up. Those familiar with the former Adult Swim series Home Movies might know who he is!

Rescue Me's Diane Farr is joining the cast of CBS' Numbers this fall, replacing Sabrina Lloyd. Per Variety, she'll play Special Agent Megan Reeves, a Quantico grad assigned to the Los Angeles FBI office. A Rescue Me rep, meanwhile, confirms that Farr won't be back next year.
