In HD: Jennifer Tilly on Leno

Damn. The only thing better than a Jennifer Tilly interview is a Jennifer Tilly interview in HD.

Close ups of Jennifer were flawless. And to compare, Shirley Manson's closeups showed that she had tons of pancake makeup on.

HiDef, it seperates mere hotties from the stunningly beautiful.

I still had my eyes covered from the Burt Reynolds HD segment.

Derrich 07-29-05 08:25 AM

That guy is scary. His face is so stretched that he could barely move it. And that rug looked like it was made of plastic. Even worse, with widescreen, he was always in the corner of the screen when Tilly was on.

And here I was hoping for a screen cap :(

They performed the title track "Bleed Like Me". IMO, awful second single. The guitars on that album drown out Shirley's vocals.

Damn, I missed Aimee!

You mean she was singing this time?

Seriously just not too great of a song with all you ex producers and such.

Buford T Pusser 07-30-05 01:02 AM

Damn. I saw Reynolds and flipped channels not knowing who else would be on the show.

Heh - its funny how different some people look in HD. Every guy I know that likes Terri Hatcher has SDTV... everyone I know that doesn't think she's "all that" has HDTV (including me).

Just heard Trump on the radio talking about this yesterday, saying how great HDTV is great for the viewers but a lot of actor/actresses don't like it because you can see too many flaws, leading to more plastic surgery. Something I had never thought of before. It is a good point.

Oh god, tell me about it. I've only seen Conan O'Brien in HD pics on the net and he looks about 10 years older in HD.

Jennifer Tilly. I love her because she's "jiggly" all over.

This has been talked about for some time now. I doubt actresses are running out to get plastic surgery just because of HDTV, but one does wonder at some of the makeup jobs you see on these TV actresses.

As vain as i'm sure some people in H'wd are, I would NOT put this past anyone. Female OR Male.

As guitar heavy as some of their songs can be, I was also quite surprised that I was able to clearly make out the lyrics at their live show.

Count me in the loves Bleed Like Me camp.

Can someone post some pics of the worser HD pics of celebrities. I find myself strangly interested in this phenomenon.

BTW I now have new found respect for the sexiness that is Jennifer Tilly.

Giantrobo 07-31-05 01:35 PM

I maintain that if it wasn't for Manson's unique eyes and beautiful pale white skin most of her male fans wouldn't even give her a second thought. :p

According to Leo Laporte, every single HBO show was available in HDTV, except for Sex and the City, whose actresses would not allow it to be shot in HDTV because of the aforementioned flaws.

Interesting. Definitely worth looking into. I'd be interested in seeing some examples.
