Entourage - "The System" - S2 Premiere - 6/5/05

The System

Should be fun...hopefully with a longer season they'll be able to develop some storylines a little better.

How many episodes will the season have? And hopefully Scarlette will make another appearance.

I don't recall of the top of my head, and I thought it was mentioned in an earlier thread, but I can't find it now. HBO's schedule only goes through July, and there's one every Sunday through the end of July (9 episodes)...and I think it's going until the end of August. Maybe a 12 or 13 episode season like most other HBO shows? Definitely better than 8, but since they're sticking with 30 minute shows, I wish they'd do more eps.

Gawd I love this show.

And yes, jump in. It's not exactly the hardest show to follow

It'll take about 45 seconds to figure out who's who.

Vince - Hollywood's latest "It" actor
Johnny - Vince's older brother, a slightly washed up actor.
Eric - Vince's best friend since childhood, also his Manager
Turtle - Another of Vince's friends.
Ari - Vince's Agent

that's all you really need.

Just record tonight's premiere and go rent the first season - it's only eight half-hour episodes. You could easily knock that out in a couple of nights and then jump right into tonight's recording.

This should be fun. I've been watching a lot of "heavy" shows lately, so it'll be good to get some light entertainment in the mix.

Liked it a lot. This show is definitely for guys what Sex and the City was for women.

Wonder if Vincent will take Aquaman?

I liked it. Had its funny moments but also got a little serious. Makes the show more interesting. I agree that its like Sex in the City for men.

Enjoyed tonight's premiere. Drama's headshot storyline was pretty funny.

Making fun of that Gayasian and allowing Ari to fill 2 quotas at once was making me roll with laughter

" I'd say let's hug it out, but I don't want you sprouting wood. "

I noticed that Debi Mazar's name is in the opening credits, now.

"How do we get on the list?"
"You do Aquaman, you stupid fuck!"

I just loved how Ari said that and the look he gave Eric.

I loved Vincent being offered the male lead in an Olsen Twins movie.

Great to have it back, but damn if it's not the shortest show on tv..

I liked seeing amanda peet in it, and the whole business card, whats your company called etc.

Turtle steps it up. And what about Busey and the totem pole

Busey was hysterical. If any part of that is acting, the guy's a freakin' genius.

Best part was when they cut to Busey right after Ari was talking about washed-up actors.

I love this show being back, too bad it is not an hour.

Eric really needs to start thinking quicker on his feet. All that time in NY doing nothing, he could not have searched the web for a little info on managing?

All the talk about the pizza, I figured they would open up their own NY pizza shop. Glad to see Turtle coming into his own, maybe now he will not be such a fuck up.
