American Idol - Final 2/Season Finale - 05/24/05 and 05/25/05

Who will be your American Idol?

Performances are on Tuesday night and a 2 hr result show on Wednesday.

Elldubtoo 05-24-05 12:59 AM

I vote for Carrie to win.

QuikSilver 05-24-05 01:55 AM

It will be Bo.

tasha99 05-24-05 02:38 AM

I think Carrie will win, but I like Bo better.

twikoff 05-24-05 05:50 AM

i want bo to win
carrie will win

if that happens.. i could see another clay/reuben situation.. where they go ahead at the end of the show, and announce that they are releasing an album from both.

Charlie Goose 05-24-05 06:59 AM

I think Bo will win. He's ever so dreamy. Must be all the pot & coke.

MovieExchange 05-24-05 07:21 AM

It appears tonight's songs will be:

1. Both will sing the American Idol song "Inside Your Heaven."
2. Each will have their own original
3. Carrie will sing Independance Day, Bo will sing Vehicle

Lynyrd Skynyrd will be performing Sweet Home Alabama with Bo on Wednesday's final. Other guests will be George Benson, Rascal Flatts (presumably performing with Carrie), Kenny G, Baby Face and Billy Preston.

Groucho 05-24-05 07:43 AM

Heard the tail end of another American Idol scandal this morning on the radio? Something to do with Ryan?

mookiemeister 05-24-05 07:49 AM

I want Carrie to win. Go Carrie!

Agreed (although unlike Reuben, Carrie is actually talented).

Of course, I thought Bo was going last week, so what do I know?

LorenzoL 05-24-05 08:00 AM

I voted for Carrie.

SleepyW 05-24-05 08:26 AM

I picked Carrie, although didn't they both sing "ID4" and "Vehicle" already? Are they that limited in songs that they're repeating?

I'm interested to see Babyface on the show. I was a HUGE fan of his in the past (before he decided to go against his core audience and got all "street"). I'm surprised he hasn't been a guest judge or featured artist yet. He's into that kind of stuff (developing artists--LaFace Records, finding new talent--tonos.com, etc.). Too bad he hasn't put out a decent song in 8 years.

I wouldn't mind being inside Carrie's heaven...

I think Ryan was publicly dismissing Corey Clark's stories about Paula Abdul, so now Clark is saying that Ryan and Simon got together.

voting for carrie and did everyone forget the corey clark situation....

he is such a loser

Right now Bo Bice is a huge favorite in the betting world.

a $100 bet on Bo Bice returns $135
a $100 bet on Carrie Underwood returns $300

That's from intertops.com.

Bet365 and SkyBet has:

$100 bet on Bo Bice returning $144.44
$100 bet on Carrie returning $262.20

Sportsinteraction:

$100 bet on Bo returning $150.00
$100 bet on Carrie returning $262.00

Jray 05-24-05 12:08 PM

I thought it was going to be Carrie all along... but Bo stepped it up to another level last week. It's probably his to lose. He's too strong.

twikoff 05-24-05 12:27 PM

bo leading 15 vs 14 in this voting
regardless what happens.. this is going to be damn close

El Scorcho 05-24-05 12:29 PM

BTW, can anyone find any guaranteed money to make in the betting lines I posted above? Like putting a bet on one site for Bo and another bet at another site for Carrie?

I looked into the Math at putting a bet on Bo at 1.5-to-1 and Carrie at 3-to-1 but I couldn't find a set of bet amounts that guaranteed profit.

devilshalo 05-24-05 12:39 PM

Bo Bice, your new lead singer for Creed (or the Molly Hatchett tribute tour). :p

superdeluxe 05-24-05 01:14 PM

The bettors are usually right...But I voted for Bo. Carrie just has no soul.

Filmmaker 05-24-05 02:56 PM

I prefer Bo, but I still feel this race belongs to Carrie...I can't imagine that enough people into Bo's type of music are AMERICAN IDOL watchers...

Bo's going to win it since no white male has won it yet while the other demographics have already took it home.

Maybe that is how Rueben won, people put large sums of money on him and then setup hugh phone banks for him.

I wish there were no beating on AI, to many ways to influence the vote.
