What's Your Favorite Buffy Season?
I loved season 2 and 6, I think a lot of people don't like season 6 for some reason. But I think it was one of the best!

I think 2 had the best storyline at the end with the whole Angelus thing, but 3 had a great villian, Faith, and the quality was very consistent whereas 2 was still kind of spotty to start off. My top 3 seasons would have to be 3, 2, and 5. The rest are kind of a wash, although 1 gets a boost because SMG was muy muy hot back when the show started. I still have to watch season 7.

Wow, lots of hate for S4. I despise Riley with a passion, but rewatching S4 gave me a new appreciation for it. Watching S6 again just made me want to kill myself, and rewatching S7 was just annoying. Blah blah, dropped plotpoint, bad characterization, Buffy speechifies yet again; lather, rinse, repeat. But I'd rather be bored than depressed episode after episode, so 7 comes before 6.

I've only seen up to season 4, but I would have to put 3 #1, because it was the first season that was consistanly good. Only real weak spot was that I didn't care for the finale.
Whereas 2 was very inconsistant. Really Good one episode, really bad another.
4 started out really good, but got pretty ridiculous by the end, though I did love the final episode of that season.
If I had to rank them 3,4,2,1

My first post in a Buffy thread besides my own
My favorite season was 3.
The rest, my ranking is different then everyone else. I'd list them as:

I'm pretty surprised by all the hate for 4, I actually kind of liked Riley by the end. 6 was the unbearable season for me & I think I liked 7 more than most.

Boy did I dislike the last two seasons. They remind me of the latest Star Wars movies, good ideas just terrible execution.
