Damn, just started a 2nd thread by accident cuz this one slipped off the first page. Has everyone fired this show? They might after this clunker.

Clark is really awful about keeping his powers a secret. The kid blows up, and stupid Clark comes wandering out of the smoke. Great job. Why wouldn't he at least play dead 100 feet away for a minute, just to make it seem like he was human?

I agree, the episode was pretty terrible , only Lex's line at the end got some kind of emotion out of me.

I guess they decided to pull the heartstrings with this episode.

Evan was a little too similar to Ryan (the kid that Clark had a bonding with from season one). And you had a windmill in place of a hot air balloon.

Lana didn't know anything on Evan's fate, other than him giving off energy and growing older. She was oblivious that he would blow up, and didn't see much while it happened.

Glad to see Lionel back to his treacherous and manipulative self. I guess he must've seen Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Another plus: Lex doing his usual behind Clark's back actions. Did like the close-up of their handshake.

Wasn't his hair amazing?????
You know they are grabbing at straws when they do- we have to take care of the orphaned baby episode or the rapidly aging baby episode.

Loved the glowing womb too.

I will co-sign that.

Absolute worst Smallville episode ever. Terrible acting, terrible story, what a waste.

A monkey fucking a football could write a better episode.

Horrible, though I can't wait till next week and the season finale with 10 minutes of BATMAN RETURNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That had to be the worst wig I've ever seen. Dolly Parton's wigs look better than that one. It's like they pulled some old Davy Crockett prop hat from an old movie and cut off the tail.

My one word review: Craptacular!

Lionel had some Ronald McDonald hair going on tonight.

I was rather disappointed to know that Stephen DeKnight wrote and directed this really bad episode.

Shit who noticed, all I was fixed on in this shitter episode was Lana's lacy white tanktop and tight jeans

It was Evan, because they found him on Old Man Evan's field or something.

For some reason I thought his name was Heaven and thought it was a rather odd choice of a name. Thanks for the clearification. Also, I thought the episode was not great.

i've always watched this show not for Lana, but just cause i enjoyed it overall. It wasn't until last weeks episode that I fell for her, when Clark had amnesia and he confronted her. Pure heart baby - all romance.

This week sucked, but it was pure gangsta what Lionel Luthor did at the end. Gangstaaaaaaa daddio!!

Good god man, that was the worst Smallville episode ever. I spent the whole episode wondering when something good was going to happen, and it didn't happen until the 37:00 minute mark or so when Lionel showed his magnificent darkside and poisoned Dr. Quinn - which was an awesome scene. Good god man, usually episodes around the end of the season are exemplary... ugh... I still have a bad taste in my mouth after that episode.

I miss buffy/angel
Move the story forward a little !! Its playing out to be like a soap opera, delta story increment/episode.
They made angel evil, made him kill, and get killed inside one season.

Why hasnt clark graduated from high school yet??

Mabbe they just didnt think it thru. Not much can be told about superman battles on a small budget. His weakness to kryptonite is just lame.

Glad I'm not the only one who thought this episode sucked. Unless I missed it, no explanation for the rapid gestation/growth; not even the standard kryptonite freak explanation. The father being impaled in the garage was ridiculous.

Only good part was seeing bad Lionel back.

I also didn't like last night's episode. I'm trying to think of a point for this episode. Maybe the writer is trying to draw a parallel between this boy being found by Clark/Lana with Clark being found by the Kents??? But what's the point?

I don't remember the turning good reason, but the turning back to evil reason came from the evil half of Lex a few episodes ago.
