Did NBC give up tonight?
Looking at the schedule tonight:
ABC has a bunch of sitcoms which are popular with middle America CBS has The Amazing Race 7 FOX has the killer American Idol and NBC has Most Outrageous TV Moments :hscratch:.. This is the same clip show we have all seen a million times.. Just seems like an odd scheduling choice. I know The Office had its season finale and Scrubs has 1 (or 2) episodes left, but it seems like they could've thrown on a special Will and Grace or something |
Why? They were not going to make any significant ratings tonight. Might as well just concentrate on 9pm when they could take it with Scrubs.
|
but they are showing L&O then
|
What? Forget UPN with Veronica Mars? !
|
I was pretty disappointed when I saw they aren't re-airing The Office. I was really looking forward to checking out these eps again.

I watched the Outrageous clips show.
|
I, for one, will be watching the L&O crossover tonight.
|
What's even better is that on the NBC website (at least earlier tonight), the front graphic promoting the L+O crossover called one of the shows "Tryal by Jury".

With American Idol, Amazing Race, House, and The Shield...Tuesday is by far the strongest night of the week. |

yeah it is. I got to see Veronica Mars also on it's regular time slot. They really need to shuffle some of those shows around to see some better ratings.
|
Tuesdays are brutal for me as well. Scrubs/The Office (probably RIP)/Veronica Mars/The Amazing Race/hell even According To Jim sometimes. It's too bad that it seems most of these shows are ending together (well the good ones anyway).

No kidding. NBC might win the night with 2 new L&Os on from 9-11. |

Well, NBC didn't win the night. I forgot about the carbon blob favorite being on last night. However, they did finish 2nd so maybe they should give up more often. ;) FOX averaged a 12.7 rating/19 share in primetime, winning the night by a hefty margin. Thanks to a "Law & Order" franchise crossover, NBC took second with an 8.5/13, beating out CBS, 8.1/13. ABC was a distant fourth at 4.5/7. The WB, 3.4/5, finished fifth, and UPN trailed at 1.6/2. |
