NEVERMIND. Bush decided to speak about some boring issues, and now we don;t get to see The O.C.

Next week, Fox will air 2 new episodes. Keep it in mind guys...

It aired here in Canada... and a LOT of stuff happened in this episode...
Spoiler:
I'm Glad Carter will be getting the hell out of dodge...I just hope Kirsten can go back to being her usual awesome self instead of the mope master she is becoming...that drink better not be a sign of things to come. I also can not believe that Trey tried to rape Marissa like that... it seemed very out of character and certainly opens the door for his exit from the show very soon... and Summer kissing Zak... NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Her and Cohen need to work shit out PRONTO. This show certainly doesn't lack for drama...

OH BANANAS OH BANANAS OH BANANAS.

Yeah, it aired the regular time for me as well. I've spoilered some things from the episode below, as well as information about an upcoming storyline.

Spoiler:
Not only did Trey try to rape Marissa, but he was high when he did it. It showed him snorting up just before the attack.

Spoiler:
Also, Kirsten does have a drinking problem being written into the show. It's been hinted at throughout the last few episodes. I am glad that Carter is gone. I never liked him, and I really don't like the distance developing between her and Sandy. I loved Sandy running off his mother's fiance though.

Spoiler:
It's another obstacle for Seth and Summer. I am getting tired of the whole on-again/off-again relationship. Ditto for Marissa and Ryan.

I watched the bittorrent and I had my mouth open half the time. The other half I was laughing.

Josh Schwartz wrote this one and it shows. I really enjoyed it even if it contains so many things which make you look at the characters in disbelief.

I think they should have Linda Lavin's character working in a diner in Arizona (Polly Holiday guest stars).

Spoiler:
Also, Kirsten does have a drinking problem being written into the show. It's been hinted at throughout the last few episodes.

The last few episodes??? She has always had a drink in her hand since the show started. I was wondering why they hadn't addresses this sooner.

The first episode had everything I like about the OC - funny Seth, funny Sandy, and ludicrous melodrama.

If Marissa was worried about everyone seeing her scratched-up chest, why did she wear an open jacket to school? Oh, I forgot, she doesn't own any normal clothes

The show used to be fun but now it's almost painful to watch. Every cliche was thrown at us in Episode 1 last night. Seth and the whip cream girl. Oooh, Big surprise that she had a big bo-hunk boyfriend. Even bigger surprise that Summer just happened to be watching it on TV. Seth used to be entertaining when he was the underdog, now he is annoying.
Kristin? Is this all they could find to do with her character? Pretty sad.
And the whole Trey thing? Why did they even introduce the character if they were just going to have him turn out to be a typical TV stock hoodlum. I was hoping, he would turn his act around but after what he did to Marissa on the Beach, that doesn't look like it is going to happen.
