And away we go...

Draven 04-26-05 10:25 PM

Lots of funny moments in this one.

A highlight for me was "That's right, your kidney named your gall bladder Frank."

Also the "steaming pile of crazy that is Elliot Reed" had me laughing...not to mention how smoking hot she looked throughout the episode.

Ranger 04-27-05 12:09 AM

"Jesus H. Cox!"

Bill Needle 04-27-05 12:13 AM

Great episode. Thank goodness I found this series before it was too late.

"All your references check out."
"I didn't give you any references!"

I was looking at the description for the season finally and it would seem the "big surprise" (being vague for those who haven't details heard yet) is pretty clear, or at least you would think...

The preview is...

Spoiler:
In the fourth season finale, a major character departs and JD faces a major turning point when he moves out of Turk's and Carla's place.

.
Spoiler:
Given that, you would assume it's Elliot, Dr. Cox, or Kelso. Since it wont be Dr. Cox, you could narrow it down to Elliot or Kelso.

Spoiler:
I didn't see the preview, but a major charactar leaving saddens me. It could also be janitor, even. In any case, sad.

Spoiler:
Although he is a regular, I don't think he is considered a "major" character. Also, in the articles that first broke the news of some one leaving, they talked about the life of hospital attendant and that realistically, within 5 years, there are some changes and thus the reason for the change.

Spoiler:
I read a character is leaving the hospital, not the show. My guess is Elliot will start next season at a new hospital

Spoiler:
Well, I always have wondered how they're going to deal with their post-residency after this season. Turk will still be a resident, but after 4 years, Eliot and JD are done. Without JD as Cox's protege, the dynamic just won't be the same anymore.

Exactly. The producers have stated this fact over and over. So there is not a character leaving the show.

Enjoyed the ep.

Has it been confirmed that Jason Bateman will appear in the finale?

Elliott did look great in last night's ep.

Spoiler:
If anyone is leaving the show - it's Kelso. If anyone is leaving the hospital - it's Elliott.

Best part of a decent episode.

pdutta2000 04-27-05 01:24 PM

Turk dancing on the desk had me rolling on the floor. Another great episode. Can not wait till season 1 comes out so I can re-live this series from the start.

maxpower 04-27-05 03:44 PM

I usually watch each episode twice...second time with captioning to get what I missed since sometimes the lines are so rapidfire I am laughing and miss the next line.

In the intro when Ted tells JD Kelso wanted him to wait outside the elevator at 12:05 the captioning was totally different. When Kelso drives by he says " Thanks, Ted." but the captioning says "See you later, Sucko!"

Kal-El 04-27-05 04:53 PM

I lost it when all the guys showed up to hear more about Elliott's "special skill".

The Antipodean 04-27-05 05:18 PM

So is next week the finale? I had thought it was this week's, but no?

invisiblegt 04-27-05 05:24 PM

If I'm not mistaken, the season finale of Scrubs will air on May 10th. At least, that's what I've heard.

The episode is entitled "My Changing Ways."

Ditto that, I had to rewind and play it back several times before I could move on.

JD - "You can swallow your whole fist"?
Elliot - "Yes"
Guys - "ooooohhhhhhhh"
JD - "Shhhh, don't ruin it" :lol::lol:

Patman 04-28-05 05:46 PM

I knew a girl in high school who could swallow her whole fist, we called her Java Woman for some reason. She showed a group of us of this skill. Same reaction as on Scrubs.

I've always wondered why this is so special. Do some guys have a whoo-hoo that is as wide as a fist?

Chris

Patman 04-28-05 08:19 PM

It's more about the possibilities...
