I have to wonder if this episode will continue the "funny" trend from last week? ;)

Achtung 04-18-05 01:52 PM

So, this week Jack will be stopping the terrorists from what, Plan J?

Just last week?

:)

runner001 04-18-05 08:32 PM

This isn't the first time they've done this obviously, but isn't it stupid that they bring in potential terrorists in the front door and for them to see the complete layout of CTU?

IDrinkMolson 04-18-05 08:37 PM

Lawyer + court order + US Marshall? I call bullshit.

Trelach24 04-18-05 08:37 PM

I'm sorry but this show is really losing me :(

Spoiler:
Are they even trying to make sense any more? A signed court order at 1:00 AM in 20 minutes? Plus transportation time to CTU? Are you kidding me?

And all in the span of just a few minutes...

It just shows how damn good Marwan is. He is like Dennis Hopper times fifty. And he didn't even have to kill Richie Valens.

I like how Novick is drinking the Jack Kool-Aid again. Nice to see that the new Pres has surrounded himself with an even more spineless weasel than himself though to counter Big Balls Novick.

As for the latest Jack twist, we are reaching again, but damn it this show is hella entertaining.

Ranger 04-18-05 08:51 PM

"Amnesty Global." Real subtle. :)

OK, episode was saved by the Family Guy promo!!!

flagstone 04-18-05 08:58 PM

Jack brings the funny: "This'll help you with the pain."

leepyswetr 04-18-05 09:01 PM

Too bad for CTU that the satellite imagery of the heist was blocked by the mountains on the Illinois-Iowa border.

Ranger 04-18-05 09:02 PM

"Jack?"

"Jack?"

"Audrey, please!"

(walks away)

Steam 04-18-05 09:02 PM

Spoiler:
They are bringing back the wrong Palmer. Everyone knows that Keith was the brains of that family.

Patman 04-18-05 09:03 PM

The first 42 minutes of tonight's episode were pretty much the dullest 42 minutes yet in "24" history. Then Jack came back to CTU and got the pot stirring again!

Weiss (the lawyer) didn't even flinch when Jack mentioned that the terrorists had a nuclear warhead. Hmmm...

Derrich 04-18-05 09:03 PM

When did Fox News start writing 24?

They went a long way and threw out a lot of logic just to say "Liberals who harp on about loss of civil liberties are helping the terrorist destroy the USA".

Edgar is having a meltdown, the Pres is having a meltdown, and Jack is breaking fingers like a 2 bit mobster. Excuse me, but isn't this the guy who cut off a man's head just to prove his rep?

Worst episode ever.

D

resinrats 04-18-05 09:03 PM

Friggin' awesome. Next week's going to rule as well!!!

Patman 04-18-05 09:07 PM

Spoiler:
"You're in good hands."

BlackCapTen 04-18-05 09:10 PM

Rock on, 24.

yeah, whats the problem? some won't 'get it' until the mushroom cloud really does explode on our soil.

hypothetical, if you were the president, would you authorize his questioning based on the fact that CTU observed him suspiciously meeting the terrorist at the getaway location?

Ranger 04-18-05 09:16 PM

I was really scratching my head when the president wanted a meeting with the Justice Dept then uh... he said he'd get back to CTU.

Achtung 04-18-05 09:26 PM

*sigh*.... *waits patiently to see this season out...*

Not even going to bother pointing out the logic holes. Well maybe just one--the fully armed warhead being escorted by a military transport that is taken out by two vans of terrorists in the mountains of central Illinois...

Well, nice to see Jack doing his best Det. Briscoe line at the end. :)
