Looking forward to both of these. Probably won't watch tonight though as I'll be drinking myself into a stupor after my thesis defense today.
Will probably just watch both back to back this weekend.

I loved how most of the lawyers wouldn't give the DNA sample. Liked the procedural wrangling over the limited scope of what the DNA sample could be used for.
Overall, a solid episode although the tension btwn McCoy and Fontana after Ed was gunned down seemed very forced and fake.

I'm thinking that Fontana has a guilty conscience for letting Green go alone.
But this was a great episode and can't wait for Friday. I'm almost saved the ep for tomorrow so I could watch them back to back.

That was the other problem. I can see Fontana being pissed and upset but I just don't buy the getting-in-your-face kind of pissed to McCoy.

I thought it was funny when the lt. was getting permission to ask for dna samples
on all the csi shows they simply go in and get the samples, no discussion of rights or anything

Fontana reacting to McCoy like that had me thinking too. I figured he was just mad at the DA in general for sending him out there on top of his guilt for not going.

too many cases in two episodes
went from a dead lawyer with an ex-cop witness to a search for a murderer of the witness to a porn seller a la 9mm and then he was finally busted for another crime
His defense lawyer was hot, a good lawyer, but a stupid person

Plus it was nice to see the bad guy getting work again (haven't really seen him since "The Tuxedo").
I checked TVTome and the guy who played Phelps - the dude that paid $50k for the tape - has been 4 different characters on L&O and has appeared as different character in SVU, CI and now TBJ.

You're probably right, although it was great when they trotted in the supposedly dead chick.
Damn - that defense lawyer was smokin'. Hopefully, we haven't seen the last of her.
