Still not loving it. Carell makes my teeth grind at times watching him trying to be loved, but it's too painful at times.
The cat-n-mouse games between Tim, Dwight and Pam is almost getting there, but Pam's acting doesn't quite play right to me so far.

After being less than impressed by the show this episode really came through. I'm really enjoying Jim and Dwight and Michael was slightly less over the top. Hope they keep it up.

As a huge fan of the original BBC series, I am shocked at how good this show is. The whole application of Survivor to work was great. My only complaint is the way in which the Jim/Pam relationship is really being pushed. The attack by her fiancée last night was way out of place and changed the tone of the show too quickly. I preferred the way it was handled in the British series. It seems like they are trying to make it work, but should have just dropped the fiancée in the US series.

First episode that didn't really work for me. It felt like 10 minutes of plot blown up to 22 minutes. A couple of moments (Dwight's dyed hair and Michael's "son of a bitch!") but that's really it.
The Pam/Jim dynamic doesn't really work, either. The British Office's torment of Gareth/Dwight was much more sadistic and humorous.

This episode was simply alright.
I will admit, it did manage to make me laugh a few times, which is something that none of the previous episodes have managed to do. The birthday scene, in particular, and the scenes involving the box.
Most everything else, however, was pretty bad. Steve Carrell is still rather bad, as is the character of Dwight (although he was far better this week than any other).

I'd miss every show without mine. Go out and get one. NOW!
Anyway. Great show last night. I loved the "Green is whorish" scene. Aboslutely dead on timing. Definately on my top five must watch list.

I had to watch Pam faking the cell phone call three times I was laughing so hard. It was so cute the way she was trying to not laugh and doing "bad" acting and then the way she just ran away was killing me.
