Anyone watch Stargate: Supervolcano on Discovery?

the stargate thing is a joke because just about every recurring guest star from SG1 and even a few one appearance guest stars that had important to the episode roles was cast in Discovery's Supervolcano movie.
it was fairly interesting

I thought it sucked. I hate when they have actors play scientists. The "geology experts" were so over the top dramatic it was rediculous.

and the tsunami effect was cheesy and just plain bad EFX.

be quiet :p .. tivo'ed ..replay'ed ..dvr'ed...RECORDED! ...anyways..I watched it..I've definately seen worse...it was better than the usual "disaster" flicks ABC/CBS/NBC airs whenever they make them..but ..not by much...

I forgot all about this, and since my wife is a disaster movie afficianado, I was afraid if she ever found out that I knew about this but forgot to tell her, she would kill me.

Fortunately, it's re-airing tomorrow night (Saturday, April 16) at 8 EDT. The TiVo is set and my marriage is safe!

I watched it and thought it was OK. At least it's partially based on some real science. The special effects kind of sucked, but I was staying home from work because I was really ill and it was a nice way to kill a few hours. Better than watching Dora and Little Bill with my two year old.

I enjoyed it! Slightly better fare than what the SCI-FI channel shows on saturday nights!!
