I don't want no part of your tightass country club, you freak bitch!

Cusm 04-03-05 11:44 PM

Seriously dad the radio doesn't work either.

mdc3000 04-03-05 11:50 PM

One of the best episodes ever.... If fox doesn't renew this show, I'm going to go crazy.

"I just saw Bland leaving. Who's the hottie?"

"Her?"

"That was before he saw you pounding that sweet piece of Veal"

Cusm 04-03-05 11:57 PM

I love that they switched Ann's parents.

shizawn 04-04-05 12:00 AM

omg that episode was so awesome

LasVegasMichael 04-04-05 12:15 AM

Outstanding as always. Still pissed that they cut the episodes down to 18, but hopefully the DVD of S will be out sooner because of it (a fella can dream, can't he?).

Thrush 04-04-05 12:15 AM

"What kind of puppet does buster have on his hand?"

"That oatmeal needs some brown sugar!"

"You've got to lock that down" best line of the season.

WOW! That was (bleep)ing hilarious!!

Best one in a while, and for this show that's actually saying something! (meaning even the worst episode of AD is better than 99.998% of things on TV)

"I forget here you call it a sausage in your mouth"

"Actually here it's just 'sausage' "

This was a great episode, with a couple of laugh out loud moments for me. Loved George and Lucille in the back with Gob telling them that the radio and the partition were both broken.

Okay, who wants a banger in the mouth?

Tobias' "Mary Poppins" leap made me spit my drink across the room!

Well like Ann, whom was played by a cute actress for 1-2 episodes before being replaced by Bland. Her parents have been played for several episodes by a couple that could pass for Bland's parents. They were on the CD/MP3 burning party episode, her dad was showing off his bicep to a couple of kids. The old ugly Ann's parents were replaced by the couple in this episode.

I really enjoyed them bringing back the subtle music cues as well.

"Your father isn't here"
cue sentimental music "Or maybe he is" - Oscar
and then cut the music abruptly when the next line comes.

I love it.

Best line was the last one with Buster and the puppet.

At 8 p.m., CBS stayed on top with the 9.5/15 for "Cold Case," though ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" closed strong with an 8.7/14. FOX's "The Simpsons" and "Arrested Development" could average only a 4.0/6 between them, which was enough to edge the anemic 3.6/6 for NBC's "The Contender." A second hour of "Charmed" kept The WB in fifth.

Brent L 04-04-05 04:13 PM

"I don't want no part of your tired ass country club, ya freak bitch"

And with that, we have the "line of the night".

Damn funny episode last night. Tobias nearly had me in tears.

DRG 04-04-05 04:41 PM

I loved the little funk snippet when Ann thinks they have Michael's blessing to have sex, and they cut to George Michael's bewildered look. Does anyone know what song that was?

kaempfer 04-04-05 06:28 PM

One thing I don't understand though, is why Maeby too old to be living in Balboa Tower?

I'm pretty sure that was original music by David Schwartz - there's a great jukebox of his music for the series on the Season One DVD.

I really enjoyed the episode - so many things seemed tied together, it was almost like a cliffhanger season finale.

My question is - are they really going to commit to Buster's hand being gone? Is it a joke they're willing to go all the way with, or will he get his hand back? Either way, it's been off for a long time and they have great commitment to it, but I'm very interested to see how much longer they have the hook.

I think they are committed to it... my guess is an "attachment of the week" type of deal....course there may be only two eps left.

Supermallet 04-04-05 08:49 PM

"You love me, I even saw you kissing my hand at night when you thought I was asleep."

"Oh, Michael, I haven't seen you in a week's time!"
"No, you saw me this morning. Remember? You tried to put a banger in my mouth."
"Oh, I, uh...did I? I'm so exhausted..."

And for me, the line of the night was actually

"Not now, Tobias."
"I AM Tobias, Michael, it's me!" *wink*

There's just something about the way David Cross delivered that line that had me in stitches.

Oh, also, being me, I just loved it when Lindsay offered the pre-engagement ring to George-Michael. ;)

Supermallet 04-04-05 08:51 PM

Oh, and I also loved George Sr. in the limo.

"Dad, the partition doesn't go all the way up, remember?"
"Just one feel!"

And Gob with the security guard was utterly classic.
