It reminds me of Sgt. Hulka saying, "Lighten up, Francis." Poke that hornets nest, baby.

How much longer will Chris last??

I think Trump enjoys torturing the poor bastard just to see him go ballistic

I hope Burnett and his crew come up with better tasks for future seasons. They need to be more job related to being an actual apprentice

I can take a few infomercials, but it has been entire seasons of them lately.

For me, the best moment in the show was the Papa John's hijack commercial. Domino's does a tie in with the show, both teams create a meatball pizza (at Donald's "subtle" suggestion), but if you the viewer want a meatball pizza you have to go to a competitor to get one. Papa John's takes out an ad for a new meatball pizza in the middle of the show ("Come on you don't want a pizza made by an apprentice...") and reaps the benefit of Domino's tie-in. It seems obvious to me that PJ's got wind of the Domino's promotional stunt and were ready to program against it. Props to them. I bet the marketing guys in Ann Arbor are pissed!

Commercial? Whats that? ;)

They keep mentioning that Chris has a temper, but he has so much potential. Anyone else see this potential or know which task he demonstrated it in? All I see is a guy about to snap, I don't really see any leadership in him.

Patman 04-04-05 07:21 AM

The Donald is just keeping him around for laughs.

I haven't seen it but I guess it has to do with the fact that he's a millionaire already (apparently) at the age of 21. He must have some business savvy that isn't displayed on the show. I guess it's kind of hard to show all that stuff in one hour per week. But I agree with you, he doesn't "seem" to have it. I can't believe he hasn't been booted yet. I just watched the filler ep from a couple weeks ago and they showed more about one of the first boardrooms. He really freaked out Angie and that was early on.

Giles 04-04-05 02:04 PM

and what was up with that 'pizza delivery to Brooklyn' - what a stupid waste of time.

Patman 04-04-05 02:17 PM

Well, blame that on the pre-sell by the guys on that team. Stephanie should have had those pizzas couriered over.

She should have sent one of the actors to have done the delivery.

mphtrilogy 04-04-05 02:30 PM

yeah brooklyn does not have any pizza parlors...

only the best pizza in the world, ugh to subjegate yourslef to dominos when you have the real thing a block away is absurd

animalmystic 04-04-05 02:59 PM

yep, I was pretty shocked that Stephanie was fired this week (over Chris) but she really should have tried to blame the pre-sell harder (more of a regretful tone i.e. even though I believe that trotting all the way to Brooklyn was a waste of time, I did it because we made a promise) that Alex and whoever he went with sold pizza to people in Brooklyn. I thought it was smart at first until they showed that the pizza stand was far away from the training store.

Trigger 04-04-05 03:54 PM

If Chris had told me to get out of his face, I'd push his buttons until he punched me - then I'd look him in the eye and say "bye"... then after the season was over, I'd track him down and kick his ass.

I think that most of us could have lived without this bit of knowledge

I don't think that Alex could kick anyone's butt

 I know the "Net Worth" team was made up of people who did well financially, but I never got the impression he was a millionaire, where'd you hear that?

he said it in one of the boardrooms....I think the one where Erin got fired.

Chris appears to be a major Type A personality. It would not surprise me if he has a heart attack before he is 30, just based on the stress and quick anger that he has showed through the series so far.

I think Trump mentioned it once too. Maybe in one of the voiceovers or something. But I remember hearing about him being a millionaire on 2 occasions in the past few weeks.
