New Desperate Housewives 2005-03-27

Title says it, but WAIT, there's MORE. Cold Case, L&O:CI, Crossing Jordan all new and the premiere of Grays' Anatomy. Is this an Easter present or have sweep begun? (I thought they were later)

Good episode. Looks like Edie and Susan are on the right track with the murder, but because of the tape being dropped in the couch, Paul knows that Edie knows about Mary Alice's secret past (or at least she knows that she has a secret past).

Scavo is a badass.

Sometimes I wish Rex would kill Bree.

Lynette's such a good negotiator. She's fun to watch.

Who knew Bree and Gabrielle would bond over such uphill battles.

Who thought Edie would be the one to get Susan out of her funk?

Man, after such a long break since the last new episode, it took me a while to get back into the swing of things and remember everything going on. They needed a longer recap at the beginning.

Good episode

Eva in that bikini

When Bree was going off on Rex as he was getting up to leave I was waiting for her to blurt out what he does after he finishes again

I was so ready for Rex to call Bree's bluff and walk out. Even if she did yell out those things, he could've tried walking head high as if it didn't bother him and have at least some amount of dignity. I guess it's just not in his nature. He's a wuss!

Nicollette has a pretty nice body but man her face in HD does not work. But on the other hand EVA + HD = beautiful. Other then that i thought it was a decent episode. I usually dont watch it, but i thought grays anatamity was on at 9 so i just tuned in during the entire show.

Eva did look smokin' in that bikini.

Out of the four main housewives, I would have figured that Bree and Gabrielle would be the ones that were less close as the others, but it was nice to see them build a relationship in this episode.

Guess we finally have a clue as to what the pharmacist is doing to Rex. "Still sluggish?" Wonder if his Dr. will be able to figure out why the "medicine" is not working.

Really enjoyed the scene with Susan and Edie. Did Edie really go through with her actions? Seems like she may have started something that might create complications later on.

Glad this show was back with a new episode. Great to see/hear for the promo that all new eps will air until the finale.

I thought at first that Rex and Bree were getting stares at the Country Club because Bree went to see Maisy in prison. I thought after she made her little speech that we would find out that the "black book" was still a secret. But that was not the case.

Yep - total butterface on the former. Yes, EVA + HD = heaven.

So glad this show is back.

I had completely forgotten about that. These long breaks kill the momentum of serialized programs.

The thing with the pharmacist has been very subtle since they first mentioned it. I'm surprised they haven't reminded us in the "previously on" segments. Then again, RFK is only a supporting character, so that sub-plot can sit on the back burner for a while.

This'll probably happen in the coming weeks when his condition could worsen.

Nice ep. It's good that they're trying to develop Susan and Gabriele a bit more as when the show started it seemed it was all about Lynette and Bree for the most part.

I'm starting to get bored of the show. Not sure why, just feels like they aren't doing anything anymore.

On Saturday night, a day before this new episode, ABC reran the episode in which George replaced Rex's medicine as a reminder (I guess that was the reason for rerunning that particular episode).

Enjoyed this week's episode. And next week's is the first of 7 new episodes.
