The Apprentice - 3/24/05

Poor choice.

Spoiler:
She was the best one there. :(

WillieTheShakes 03-24-05 08:43 PM

Argh!
The pizza guy showed up at the very end of the boardroom. What did the firee say that pissed everyone off?

Toad 03-24-05 08:48 PM

Trump said "My two cronie idiots say that the project manager is good so I have to listen to them."

She said "Do you?"

Then the frozen-up bitch on his left said "Oh that was uncalled for!"

And Trump said "Yeah, you're sort of a wild man - you're fired biatch!!"

Basically he gave into his old, unattractive cronies who can't stand attractive people and fired the only solid person left (besides Bren, IMO).

JHosk 03-24-05 09:05 PM

I thought Erin came accross as having a HUGE ego tonight. I was glad to see her ass get fired.

Although by rights it should have been Chris.

I don't understand why they hyped tonights epside as "someone gets saucy with trump". Seemed kind of tame and a let-down. I guess it was bait and switch to get people to think it was Chris who was getting the boot.

Timber 03-24-05 09:25 PM

Chris is indeed insane but Erin deserved the firing. Her ego got a little too big in the board room.

How dare you disrespect Carolyn like that. :johnwoo: :)

Am I the only one that thinks she's hot?

JasonF 03-24-05 09:26 PM

I agree with Trump -- all three of them deserved to be fired. None of them knows how to behave in a boardroom setting, with their constant bickering, interrupting, and shouting over each other.

Erin isn't any more competent than any of the people on the college team. It wouldn't have been a travesty for Trump to keep her and fire one of the others, but it wasn't a travesty that she was fired.

Trelach24 03-24-05 09:32 PM

Carolyn is DEFINITELY hot.

Dabaomb 03-24-05 09:40 PM

I didn't know that NBC started this at 8:30 tonight so I missed the first half hour.

All 3 contestants sucked from what i saw. The PM when asked who should go back to the boardroom said herself.

Chris is a moron. He's very loud which appears to get him into trouble next week.

Erin knew that she had it good with Trump and then stepped over the line with that comment. Maybe Trump's wife told her to get rid of her so that he wouldn't be tempted to flirt with her

Jadzia 03-24-05 09:46 PM

That Chris guy makes the ugliest face when he talks. He gets so angry-looking like a wild bull.

I thought it was kind of funny what Erin said. I would have said something similar. Of course, I have been called a smart-ass.

nazz 03-24-05 10:11 PM

If you think Chris is on edge now, wait until he's feeling the nicotine withdrawl.

The best decision the PM made was to keep her mouth shut in the boardroom.

Carolyn is definitely hot and also not to be messed with as Erin found out tonight.

Jeraden 03-24-05 10:22 PM

I really think Chris should have gone. It looked like he was ready to punch someone in there. He always looks that way when he gets worked up - which is really anytime anyone questions him. Its really not the way you'd want someone to act in a meeting.

Personally I didn't really see anything wrong with Erin's "Do you?" comment, thought it was just some innocent fun. Even the PM made a joke about sending herself back to the hotel room, but they didn't all jump down her throat about that one (although it was funny when they cut the camera to Trump's face after that and he just had a dead-serious stare).

Patman 03-24-05 11:51 PM

I think it was the wink that pushed Carolyn over the top. :D

Too bad the eye candy got put out of pasture in this episode. Poster boy for anger management should have been given a spit-toon and a one-way ticket to the bottom floor.

When you're a 20-something schmuck looking for a job and you're in a boardroom with the CEO and his two right-hand men, you don't have innocent fun. You're not hanging out with your buddies; you're demonstrating that you are a serious professional. You certainly don't demonstrate your sense of humor at the expense of the CEO or (as Erin did in this case) his right-hand (wo)man.

mijang 03-25-05 12:30 AM

Does anyone else think that they fired Erin simply to have an equal 4 "Book Smarts" vs. 4 "Street Smarts" going down the stretch?

CrashNBurn69 03-25-05 12:33 AM

DAMMIT! Erin was so freakin hot.

Fok 03-25-05 01:20 AM

Glad she's gone, so sick of her winking to trump all the time, maybe she should of gave him head or something.
Damm miss the beginning because of the time change

I agree completely, that guy is just plain scary, and it looks like he shows that he should have been fired a long time ago next week.

I didn't see anything wrong with Erin's comment either, reminds me of somthing I would say. I guess Trump's advisor's took it personal.

I do disagree though with Trump jumping all over Chris for chewing, I find the habit disgusting and can understand Trump telling him to stop while working. But if Chris wants to chew on his own time it shouldn't be an issue in the boardroom.

shanester 03-25-05 05:37 AM

I was sad to see Erin go but she was a bit "cocky" last nite and it's obvious Caroline didn't like her for whatever reason

That Chris is definitley a loose cannon and has to go.

I can see him cracking under pressure if he runs Trump's company and coming back with an Uzi and shooting everybody :johnwoo:

Anybody else felt bad for Craig because he basicaly had to build his box/trunk all by himself. His whole team deserted him and it turned out to be a brilliant idea

The guy might not be very articulate but he seems to be pretty business savy. He became my favourite player after last nite. Hopes he goes far

movieking 03-25-05 06:45 AM

Basically, everyone on the losing team should have been fired, since they were all guilty (except Craig) of doing what Erin was supposedly fired for, which was giving up too easily on the task. Yes, she does have a big mouth, but ultimately it was her horrible performance in the task that did her in.

There is no way that Chris will win. Trump already has written him off in his mind. I am sure that other candidates that have bad habits as well, like smoking, but I guess since they didn't do it during a task it doesn't really affect Trump's perception of them (Chris was an idiot for chewing when dressed as a clown around children).

There is no doubt that he is a loose cannon, and he needs anger management. I want someone to set up a hidden video camera and have Trump to call him to the boardroom alone to insinuate that he thinks that Chris is a homosexual. Hilarity would ensue!

I thought that it was obvious that Erin was going to get fired, since all of the montages dealt with how great she was and how much Trump liked her; definitely foreshadowing if I ever saw it. They didn't even mention how much everyone liked Tana when they were talking about the music challenge - just how Erin blew everyone away.

The reward was pretty sweet. I had to laugh at seeing Bren floating around. Looking at him with his shit-eatin' grin cracks me up.

Groucho 03-25-05 07:43 AM

Hurray for the Black Guy!

Chris is being kept around with the hope that he'll go completely bonkers. Let's see if he quicks the chewing tobacco.

mphtrilogy 03-25-05 07:50 AM

There is no winner coming from that team. Next two to go, Angie and Chris. Trump was ready to fire each one, one comment is what separated Erin. it seemed like Trump really does not like Angie, and he wanted to keep Erin around, but her comment pissed him off.

Good boardroom though

LiquidSky 03-25-05 07:56 AM

Erin definitely deserved to be fired. She did nothing to contribute except act like a bitch and have a shitty attitude. If you don't know anything about Home Depot, just get in there and pitch in anyway. She would not have been a good spokesperson during the demonstration since she knew zero about the products.

Good to see the other team realize they were being a-holes, changed their attitudes, pitched in, and won.

I can't stand that Chris guy, but Trump is an idiot.

"I don't want someone working for me that chews." WTF? I am so sure that no one in your office (including you) hasn't done something bad. I would rather someone chew than buy a hooker every night of the week. You know what they say about rich businessmen.
