Joey 3/24/05

Ok, for those who watched, who is the woman that was Joey's new neighbor/girlfriend??

She looks like she could be Elisha Cuthbert's older sister.

MJG87 03-24-05 07:29 PM

I don't know who she was but I liked this new episode

Hoonster 03-24-05 07:35 PM

Madchen Amick

Probably best known recently as Carter's sorta girlfriend on ER. She was also in the Jake in Progress pilot.

Ah! That's where I've seen her.

ChrisHicks 03-24-05 08:37 PM

she was looking hotter than ever in this ep.

Toad 03-24-05 08:39 PM

Man she wasn't that hot...Joey could do better.

I really like this show. For me, the "laugh out loud" moments are few and far between, but I still LIKE the show and watch it every Thursday night. I hope the rumors about him not coming back next year are untrue. I hope he gives it one more try.

ChrisHicks 03-24-05 08:46 PM

but see, I've had a thing for her for years so she will always be great to me.

I've thought the show has really made a turn for the better. I was just about ready to give up on it after the first month, I'm glad I stuck it out.

Probably best known not-so-recently as Shelly on TWIN PEAKS. Friggin' hot as hell then and still grade-A.

Patman 03-24-05 10:56 PM

I LOL a lot in this episode, and Madchen Amick can bring the hot and funny in a nice package of give-n-take.

Chew 03-25-05 06:09 AM

A bit too much mush and not enough chuckles. And damn you NBC affiliate for not showing me the "hot new girl" in HD this week.

movieking 03-25-05 06:31 AM

I thought that it was okay, and no surprise that Alex and her husband are breaking up. How long until Joey and her replay the Joey/Rachel relationship?

Goldberg74 03-25-05 09:44 AM

I really liked this episode.

Glad it got renewed.

guywall 03-25-05 11:29 AM

OK, how long until they do the Joey/Alex thing storyline?

Daniel-A 03-25-05 01:32 PM

Best episode this season, IMO. Going back to old Friends styling. Michael gets the best laughs on the show, now. The way Joey did on the latter seasons of Friends.

LasVegasMichael 03-25-05 03:38 PM

This was the first time I have ever seen this show (tivo's it for the first time), and was pleasently surprised. I went in with very low hopes, though, so any laughs would have impressed me, and this show got a couple out of me. I will definately pick it up on DVD when it comes out, and will definately watch the rest of the season. Glad it got renewed.

Sad to say this episode isn't indicative of this season. This was one of the better episode. Easily top 3 so far. Some of the episodes were really awful.

Does anyone else think it was kinda odd to go from the scene where Alex tells everyone she is getting separated to the end credit scene with Michael and his "chicken legs"? On the eventual DVDs they would be right after each other.

Or as James Spader's love interest who likes to get naked and have lots of sex in Dream Lover.

There are others that I liked a lot more. The one with Brent Spiner was the funniest IMO. I just hate his agent. Can't stand her.

Daniel-A 03-27-05 01:17 AM

Definitely. Hate the actress. Hated her character in everything I've seen her in. :shiver:

Patman 03-27-05 09:24 AM

Bobbie brings the funny!

Groucho 03-27-05 09:39 AM

I'm in the minority it seems. I thought this episode was low on laughs, and not very good. But Madchen Amick is still looking good after all these years.

Not really. "Friends" used to do this too once in a while. Like "The One With the Fertility Test" from Season 9. Monica & Chandler find out at the end that they can't conceive naturally (sad) and then the bumper during the credits is Phoebe at the big corporate massage place where she "secretly" works (funny).

I think she's the best part of the show.
