I don't see this show lasting very long at all. Pretty lame.

My opinion of the show hasn't changed, but I'll admit that "The Bump" really made me laugh.

I caught the last few minutes and noticed Ricky Gervais' name in the credits but I didn't see what for. Does anyone know in which capacity he works on the show?

I thought it was pretty funny, clever too in some bits. I don't see it lasting too long either though.

Gervais was a writer for the British version of this show (what -- you didn't think we Americans could even do something as simple as a sketch comedy show without stealing it from the Brits, did you?). My guess is he's listed as a producer of this version.

The imaginary friend bit had a few good ones. The 2 girls weren't anything special the doctor was boring and the cheater was retarded. But the Drunk with the imaginary drunk friend and the guy who was imagined were pretty funny.

Definitely not as funny as last time. But, the sun tan lotion/bird poo was funny to me.

I'm pretty sure this is not intended to be on that long. They only shot six episodes.

I caught that too. Gervais is credited for writing. Perhaps they recycled some sketches from the British show and gave credit.

As for the British comedic snobbery in this thread, I will admit that the English performer is consistently funnier than the rest of the cast, IMHO.

But yes, this show just doesn't have the "feel" of something that will be around very long.

Well, with the big "animation block" being advertised by Fox starting 05/01, it certainly won't be around on Sundays.

It would help if they got rid of the laugh-track.

the clips I saw were, perhaps, the least funny things I've ever seen.

They don't sound good, which isn't surprising:

ABC and CBS tied for the 9 p.m. lead as both a repeat of "Desperate Housewives" and the first hour of "Spring Break Shark Attack" did an 8.7/13. NBC was a strong third with the 8.0/12 for "Law & Order: Criminal Intent." FOX was fourth with "The Simpsons" and "Kelsey Grammer Presents: The Sketch Show," which at least outdid the 1.4/2 for The WB's "Steve Harvey's Big Time Challenge."
