Pretty funny so far.

RoyalTea 03-13-05 08:49 PM

my expectations for this show could not have possibly been lower.

the phobias sketch was probably the only stinker, and I didn't have to wait to long for it to end.

Boot 03-13-05 09:11 PM

I was pleasantly surprised as well. It has a definite Laugh-In feel to it.

Deftones 03-13-05 09:32 PM

wow, it's Chloe from 24 and Traylor from the Drew Carey Show.

Finch03 03-13-05 09:44 PM

this show sucks, haven't laughed once

Yeah. I haven't laughed alot either.

invisiblegt 03-13-05 09:51 PM

I missed it. Unfortunately.

But, based upon previews, I don't see this one having "lasting quality."

majorjoe23 03-13-05 10:22 PM

I have to say, this was probably the worst half hour of TV I've ever sat through. And I got a screener copy of "The Grubbs."

Rogue588 03-13-05 11:14 PM

I had to stop after five minutes.

I'd rather see Chloe on 24.

Now that's comedy!

Matthew Chmiel 03-13-05 11:50 PM

Jesus Christ. This piece of shit is almost as bad as The Downer Channel.

badger1997 03-14-05 02:05 AM

I loved it. Thought it was hilarious. Some of the stuff is corny and obvious, but the thing I like is if you hate a sketch, wait a minute and something new will come on. I would take this any day over SNL or MadTV, especially these days.

I thought the sign language sketch was hilarious and I actually liked the phobias sketch too. The lost testicle sketch was funny too along with the "This is what I hear you saying....wah, wah, wah, poor me" thing. I will be watching this as long as it runs, which I imagine will not be very long because I actually liked it.

I know Chloe, but I couldn't place where I knew the other blonde. Thanks

TheMadMonk 03-14-05 07:43 AM

Couple of mildy amusing bits, but overall :thmbsdwn:

Jray 03-14-05 08:41 AM

I enjoyed it. There were a couple stinkers, like the testicle sketch, which felt forced. But overall I thought it was good. We'll see how it does over a few weeks.

That's how I felt. And the laugh track was very annoying.

PacMan2006 03-14-05 10:05 AM

I also liked this. It wasn't anything that made me bust a gut, but I did laugh a good deal. It was simple--something that felt like you and a few friends could accomplish--but at the same time, something about it felt very fresh to me.

Agreed, but I will still take it over SNL. The shorter sketches are more original than most of the crap SNL churns out(i.e. 95% tv/radio talk show skits).

The production seemed pretty crappy. Looked like something you would see on cable access.

spoon81 03-14-05 11:42 AM

Thought it was alright. Laughed out loud a few times, but then again, I'm a fan of "sketch comedy". My favorite was the wedding photographer- "OK, now all of you who's wearing a suit for the first time. OK, now all the drunk uncles. OK, now everyone who's slept with the bride. Ooh, I'm going to have to use the timer on this one..."

Agreed. I thought I was watching some BBC shit during some of the sketches, especially the ones with the British chap.

Extremely hit and miss.
