It's just the new reincarnation of the old BK character from back in the '80s. Do any of you remember him? It was an actual live actor no mask - crown, orange hair, moustache.

Yeah that mask was sorta creepy though when I first saw it.

That ending, as he gets hit by the paper -- perhaps it's representing the "news" of how unhealthy the new sandwich is and all the anti-BK sentiment. So he just turns around, hands raised as if to say, "Duuuuude....what d'ya want from me? Look he's enjoying the sandwich. Now move along."
