Anybody watch this on HBO last night?
It featured two formally suburban type couples who are now drug addicts living on the streets of NYC. There was no music or narration, such as on shows like "Hookers at the Point", only the camera to record these people going about their day to day 'lives' as they struggle to seek out the next fix.

The show had a high cringe factor but was compelling to watch none the less.
You definitely feel like you watching a hideous train wreck in progress.

One of the female addicts (her picture would be in the dictionary under crack whore) pulls some pretty amazing scams to get money for drugs. In one of them:

she posses as a prostitute (although at times she is an actual prostitute) and gets in a vehicle with a prospective john. After a deal is made she produces a fake badge and handcuffs and announces that the guy is under arrest. However, she inquires if the john would be agreeable to making a "donation" (a bribe) to make this go away. In one scene the terrorfied john happily hands over $100 admitting he was wrong. The addict lady then admonishes him to "never do this or return to this area again" Wow.

I turned it on right when someone was injecting into their arm..yikes...couldn't go any further.
