The Apprentice 3/3

Donald Trump. The man, the myth, the toupee....TONIGHT:

"Project Putt Putt", Episode #307.

The candidates design and operate miniature-golf courses, competing for the attention of New York's youngest golfers.

Last teammate fired: Verna, from street smarts.

Feel free to discuss the outcome!

Patman 03-03-05 08:38 PM

Now, that group prize was pretty cool.

j123vt_99 03-03-05 08:56 PM

pretty lame episode again... and my favorite is gone :(.. at least the ashlee simpson looking girl is still there

Dabaomb 03-03-05 09:01 PM

Angie: I'm so beautiful...when I was 7, everyone hated me cuz I was so beautiful.

Can anyone be more conceited?

movieking 03-03-05 09:07 PM

What was up with that? Audrey is okay looking, but I would defniitely not classify her as beatiful. Most of the remaing chicks are better looking IMO, especially Erin.

I liked John until this episode. He came off like a real prick to me.

Imagine how annoying Audrey's shtick might have become if you were around her 24/7. Maybe he's just got less tolerance for her high maintenance behaviour and had the balls to not be an enabler. He seemed to be telling her she needed to grow up. And from what I saw she needed that. But between looking good and people trying to be nice no one probably ever told her that before. And her response: A tale of woe from when she was 7 and how being so pretty is such a burden. His point: This is a competition, not group hug therapy. John may have been blunt, but business is business. In fact, notice how her ally turned on her when it came down to it during the board room.

And Audrey the hypocrite thought having the Donald tell her how good looking she was was just peachy. To paraphrase Chris Rock, it's only sexual harrassment if an ugly guy asks you out.

I think the Donald was enjoying Erin's sweater during her practice shots.

I'd still hit it. ;)

Don't hate me because I'm beautiful.......I'm glad she got fired.

And she's only 22... 22!!! :p

Honestly, at about the point she started the sob story about living in the car, I was thinking she'd have to be the one to go. My dad commented that if he screwed up at work, its not like he could justify it with a story about growing up poor in India, either.

Jadzia 03-04-05 12:55 PM

I keep expecting John to tell his teammates to "double-down" and go look for "beautiful babies".

The women on The View this morning talked about Audrey and her "I'm so beautiful" outburst. Will she ever be able to live that down? I almost feel sorry for her, she sounded so silly.

Yeah she wasn't complaining in the taxi either when Trump said that she was pretty.

animalmystic 03-04-05 02:49 PM

Damn thankx for the Erin caps

That was my thought too. She states in an obvious emotional ploy to garner sympathy that she's more than a beautiful face and has a brain. Then after being fired, her final statement indicated how pleased she was that Trump commented positively about her looks. Phony!

taa455 03-05-05 02:14 AM

This was me during this entire episode ---> -ohbfrank-

Audrey, what a baby! John was 100% right about everything he said. "She needs to go home and maybe come back in 10 years." The only John action I didn't agree with was when he called her an idiot over the phone. That was very immature and so unprofessional.

If they have another season of this show they better get some smarter people. If not, I definitely won't be watching.

Erin is just OK. I don't understand all the  over her. Just my personal opinion.

agreed, I'd rank Stephanie, Kendra, and Audrey all ahead of her. She just looks too much like Ashlee Simpson for me.

shanester 03-05-05 06:19 AM

Why was the Donald drooling over Erin when he's got that hot wife at home??

He's was like a horney teenager on the golf course:

"She's got a very delicate swing...very delicate"

She did look kind of sexy swinging that club though I must admit.

movieking 03-05-05 02:06 PM

Where did those screencaps come from? They weren't in the episode anywhere, AFAIK.

They were from the prior episode in which the teams had to paint grafitti for a PS2 ad.

movieking 03-05-05 02:54 PM

Makes sense. She was wearing the same pink sweater at golf, so I thought that it was from there.

msdmoney 03-07-05 11:48 PM

I agree with everyone's comments about Audrey her "I wanted to scar my face" speech was too much.

I did think John came off like a jerk. At times he is too stubborn and cocky and not a team player. He lets his ego get in the way of doing actual work sometimes.
