The part I found funniest is when Kyle's knees exploded.

Well, at post #48 in this thread it should have been fairly obvious that posters were about 50/50 on the episode, certainly not "laping it up". Don't take yourself, and your cartoons for that matter, so seriously.

While I didn't think the episode had great writing by any stretch, watching it with friends over lunch made for an interesting (esp. during the graphic footage) and entertaining experience. The envelope was shoved rather hard during this episode, and I don't think I would have enjoyed it anywhere near as much if I watched it at home by myself.

ps. What is a lape?

I don't think that you have the sense of humor to be watching this cartoon. You're way too serious for it.

I agree 100%. And have you noticed that when the characters walk around their legs don't even move? That's not how real people walk! What a joke.

For someone calling this season premiere episode stupid, obviously, they never saw the first few seasons (when Trey and Matt were more about dumb comedy than making fun at current social issues).

Worst episode ever!

Did Matt and Trey write this episode or did they have a drawing and let a fan write this one? I hope it's not all down-hill from here.

Mrs. Garrison was hilarious. Otherwise, there were few laughs for me.

This episode was definitely about the shock and not about the funny

still better than most things on tv but let's hope for some improvement
