Stargate Atlantis 2/11

further proof that the SGA team did not read SG1's mission reports:
ancient takes ascended form. Weir: what just happened?
duh, she's an ancient, she ascended, that's what they do
and I pegged her as an ancient when she first turned on the machine that they had just found. I had suspicions before that, but that nailed it. clueless characters don't know for 20 more minutes and even then it's a guess by mckay and not a definite conclusion

Did it seem like Stargate and Atlantis had abrupt ending tonight?

datagirl7 02-12-05 07:13 AM

Yes. And I didn't particulalry like either ep either

mikehunt 02-12-05 10:29 AM

and the ancients non involvement thing is a joke. their own people were getting wiped out by the wraith. the first one to ascend should have, as soon as they realized they had the power, wiped the wraith off the face of the universe. it would have been done to protect their own

RoQuEr 02-12-05 12:31 PM

they can't interfere once they ascend...

mikehunt 02-12-05 12:45 PM

but that's by choice. I can't see why they didn't interfere to save their own people
interfering with other races/civilizations I can maybe understand. but not even to protect their own? because they didn't all ascend at once. there were still plain humanoid ancients running around being wraith food when they first started ascending

I was not impressed with either SG-1 or SG-A this week... seems that both are going semi-downhill in the past few weeks? Or maybe it's because I'm waiting for BSG to come on :)
