The Vampire Diaries.
The Originals.

Friday is usually movie night for me. But I may try to catch up with those shows online at some point.

I stopped watching Last Man on Earth and the Muppets though I assume I will watch the remaining shows saved on my dvr since they might be cancelled I hope.

Re: What shows have you STOPPED watching?

Chicago Fire

Gotham is on my short list of shows I am thinking of dropping, I am behind 13-14 eps, it is an hour show, and I was not totally blown away by the first season (it is no The Flash).

Re: What shows have you STOPPED watching?

Dropped a few more.

Total Divas
The Muppets. I do not like the restructuring of the show at all.
Girls
Shannara Chronicles
X-FIles

I just dropped Breaking Bad about halfway through the second season. I couldn't take it anymore I kept hoping for it to get better but nope. Walter White is the most idiotic human being I've seen in a television program in a long time.

The first three or four episodes of Gotham's season two are a nice rebound from the lackluster finish it had to season one.

Dropped Gotham. Thinking about dropping Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow, the writing on both is meh. My wife dropped Pretty Little Liars and Grimm, said she wasn't into them anymore.

I don't really count Netflix shows since I don't actively record them, but I never went back for season 3 of House of Cards and Orange is the New Black even though I watched the first two seasons of each.

Arrow and The Amazing Race are both on the fence for me this year. I still love the concept of The Amazing Race but they just had increasingly worse casts these past three cycles. With Arrow, the show just isn't "fun" anymore. I'm not bailing on either year but there season passes are definitely in flux.

Dropped Sleepy Hollow, The Muppets, The Outsiders, and Colony. The Grinder is hanging on by a thread but Lucifer is safe since I no longer watch Castle or Sleepy Hollow and they're all the same show.

Re: What shows have you STOPPED watching?

I quit Shades of Blue. After it was renewed for a second season, I realized they don't have an ending in mind, they will just keep milking it until it's canceled and there won't be any satisfying conclusion.

I also stopped watching NCIS, they haven't had anything interesting in a long time.

Vinyl is not really holding my interest, nor is Elementary but I haven't officially given up on them. Having a full DVR makes you a lot more selective.

I gave up on The Muppets after the "re-tooling".

I'm guessing ABC is about to give up on it as well...the ratings have been dismal.

Spoiler:
A recent storyline had her character -Abbie Mills - leave the show - it only lasted a couple of episodes.

Re: What shows have you STOPPED watching?

I think after this season, I'm going to drop Family Guy. Family Guy has always been hit or miss with me, but lately it's been all misses.

Conan's another one, although I've been considering dropping him for a while. I've been watching the guy since he took over for Leno, but I just don't think he's funny anymore.

Re: What shows have you STOPPED watching?

I've started deleting Family Guy if I don't enjoy the first few minutes.

The finale for The Muppets literally put me to sleep. I probably won't watch it next season.

American Crime.
Regina King was pretty good in The Leftovers and Southland but she's annoying as piss in AC.

Re: What shows have you STOPPED watching?

I watched the season finale of Family Guy last night and decided it was time to go. Usually, I like the episodes involving Brian and Stewie, but their plot line was identical to every other episode involving Brian getting a girlfriend, except this time they were in India. Even though the plot was a rehash, I thought it could have held it's own for 22 mins without the inclusion of Peter's "B" story, which felt pointless and went nowhere.

I know this is Family Guy we're talking about, but come on, would it hurt them to at least try to make the writing a little better?

I hardly ever give up on shows. But finally I gave up on "Once Upon A Time". Though I loved seeing characters from all over fiction, I could no longer endure the corniness of the show.

Re: What shows have you STOPPED watching?

I'll always keep Family Guy on Series Record, as it doesn't require an exhorbitant investment in time or attention. 22 minutes, enjoy a few cutaway gags, that's it. Can watch out of order, while I'm doing something else like folding laundry, whatever. It's shows like Orphan Black, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D that get backed up on my DVR, as I'll only watch them when I can really dedicate time and my full attention.
