Jennifer Love Hewitt's new show...put out of our misery before it started.

GAME OVER: Turns out Alyson Hannigan wasn't the only one "unhappy" with ABC's mid-season Jennifer Love Hewitt comedy In the Game. Just weeks after the Buffy alumna quit the project, ABC has pulled the plug on the sitcom altogether. The show was set at a SportsCenter-type program and co-starred Ed O'Neill and Christine Baranski. It's not clear why ABC killed Game, but it's safe to say Garfield didn't help.

I looked forward to see Alyson back on tv, but when she jumped ship, I didn't plan on even giving it a view.

How is something put out of your misery if you weren't going to watch it?

I was looking forward to seeing JLH on TV again (let me emphasize the seeing part of that), and the team up with Aly would have just made it that much sweeter.

Someone this hot deserves to be on my TV every week.

The show was set at a SportsCenter-type program
If ABC is so hellbent on having a show based on a SC-type program, why the hell did they cancel Sports Night after just 2 seasons?
