I just noticed that Barry Newman has had some guest spots. IMDb has him playing Professor Bloom. I don't recall who that is?

Isn't Professor Bloom the guy from last week who asked for Sandy's help in finding his daughter?

When did Seth become such an artist? I don't remember him sketching all that much in season 1. The whole posing segment was pretty funny.

So has Caleb really changed his spots after his Ryan-induced heart attack, or is he just playing (a la Dan on One Tree Hill)?

Well, I think I figured it a bit of Sandys EX plot.

The father really isn't dying. He really wasn't "searching" for his daughter, he's known all along where she was. He is trying to clear her name, and he knows Sandy will do it if he thinks he dying and this is his last wish. Swoosh! Ive figured it out. I want a cookie.

All I'd really heard about Kim in the last few years were the DUIs, and it really does look like she just emerged from a giant keg. Anyway I thought this ep was pretty good. I like how Zach kept running in and ruining great awkward Seth/Summer moments. The ending was a little ridiculous though. So Kirsten just happened to drop by Sandy's office to do some 'sprucing' up? C'mon...she just came from the hospital after her dad had a heart attack, and now she wants to do some interior decorating? It just seemed like too easy of a way for her to find Rebecca. But I digress.

I couldn't be more bored with Ryan's plotline this year. After the season opener, it seems like he's taken a backseat to the Seth/Summer/Zach saga and Marissa's drunken freakouts and relationship problems. Not that I'm complaining, it's just something I noticed.

The preview for next week said to make sure and catch the last five minutes, so I'm guessing that's when the much-anticipated Marissa/Alex kiss will be. It seems too predictable for that though, but we'll see.

Yeah, what in the hell happened to Kim? Last I saw of her was her short stint on CSI: Miami and she looked a lot better than she does now. She has jowels now or something...did she have a kid?

They made a wrong casting decision in choosing Kim to play Sandy's old lover. She almost looks like a drag queen.

Did Sandy cheat? I haven't watched, but I'd be pissed if true. After being temped by that beautiful blond in Season 1, And being the great guy and leaving the situation(Kobe, listen) I am now told he may have cheated on Kirsten. I'm sorry but I don't buy that for one minute. If he can resist that girl from Season 1(the lawyer) than he can resist anything. Utter garbage if true.

I think Kim Delaney has packed on some weight, which makes her face look weird now.

No, Sandy hasn't been macking on the ex.

I will be going against the brilliant people at Fox and I will turn the station with 5 min. to go. I hate the storyline and I cant wait for it to go away.

Am I the only that doesn't care for the lesbian storyline? Not that I don't find Alex hot, and wouldn't mind seeing her have some lesbo action, but Marissa really kills the storyline. The love seems so fake between them, and I can't understand how she would fall for Marissa. It just seems so forced.

I don't like the Alex/Marissa storyline. Much too forced.

I would take Alex over Summer any day of the week. Third would be Kirsten. Then Lindsey. Then Julie. Then any random girl from any background scene. Then no one. Then Marissa.

I think Josh Schwartz needs to worry less about spinoffs and new shows and concentrate on this. If Oliva Wilde wasn't so damn hot I'd change the channel when the Alex and Marissa scenes come on.

What is this, the 5th or 6th time Ryan and Lindsay have broken up since the Christmas episode?

Kim Delaney hit the wall, bounced off of it, and then hit it again.

I don't know if she looks THAT bad, but if their intention is to have Sandy even think about cheating on Kirsten at some point, they really needed to cast someone 1000 times better looking than Kim Delaney.

And I agree with the previous poster about Josh Schwartz needing to get this show going. I've enjoyed this season, but there's been a huge dropoff in quality from last year. I kind of anticipated this since they went through so many storylines with these characters in Season 1, but even the new additions are getting stale. After promising debuts, have they gone anywhere with Zach, Alex, or Lindsay? It seems like they're in virtually the same spot they were a couple months ago.

I dont like it either. It seems to be there for shock value Only! If they left her a Lesbian, fine, but I bet you she'll be back with Ryan or some other guy by the end of the season. They should have played the Zack and Seth card. Now, that would have been shocking but the world seems to think two Woman are Hot and not two Men.

I agree. What's the fun if they aren't going to have them make out every ep. Kinda cheesy how they tried to get risky by showing Marisa taking her shirt off from behind. She's a fuckin toothpick.

BTW, I think that Summer looked really hot in her outfit when she posed for Seth.

You know now that I think about it even more, Alex has even less of a reason to like Marissa. She liked Seth, and probably still does as a friend, because he wasn't that badass type. Marissa tries(or that is how Mischa portrays her) so hard to be badass which she consistently fails at. She liked Seth because he showed family values, Marissa has none. I mean how much complaining about someone's family can one really take? And correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Alex ask her when she was going home like everyday? And from what I can tell Marissa just seems a lot like Alex's ex, who she obviously doesn't care for that much anymore.

Yea, so, their whole relationship just rings false for me.
