It's my opinion (and many others) that SNL is flat out not that funny anymore. Who do you think would be a good host for SNL? I'd like to hear some suggestions of people who haven't hosted before (I think it's too obvious to say that Christopher Walken for example would be a good host, we all know this ). The person that I would like to see host SNL is Michael Rosenbaum. He plays Lex Luthor on Smallville and is just flat out one funny sob, and he does great impersonations. If any of you watched the 2/2/05 Carson Daly you would have got a sample of some of his comedy.

Jenna Jameson.
OK, not really. How about Tracey Ullman?

As far as relevance, I don't know that Buck Henry was ever relevant, and he's my favorite SNL host of all time.

I'd love to see William Shatner get another shot. He is hilarious in Boston Legal and his '86 SNL episode is one of the best of all time.

Rosenbaum would be very funny...but the show would be very low rated, because most people don't know who he is. Clinton's a great choice, but I'm sure he's been asked and has declined.
Has Mel Gibson hosted before? He'd be a great choice. Sean Connery would too...if only to play Jeopardy.
As for females, I'd love to see Jodie Foster host the show. Not sure if she's ever done it.

Pretty close to home, but Will Ferrell. He's never hosted has he? I would not miss it. I don't believe John Cleese ever hosted either (though he appeared a couple of times). Michael Richards could use a job, and he was the best part of Fridays along with another contender: Larry David.

Yes, he did host, and it was an excellent show. So you are right about him being a great choice.

Kevin Spacey needs to host again. It's been way too long since his classic appearance in '97.
I've been wanting to see some of the old timers come back and host again. It's been a long time since Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, Steve Martin, or even some of the more recent regulars like Dana Carvey and Mike Myers hosted. I'm still surprised Adam Sandler has yet to return to host. Did he leave on a bad note?
Walken still hasn't hosted this year either.
