did anyone see "Pompeii: The Last Day" on Discovery Channel last night?
I caught this docu last night, and was completely rivetted. I thought the special effects were amazing. Here in DC, the Discovery Channel (which is incidently based out of nearby Silver Spring Maryland) was pumping this docu everywhere, the buses, the subway. Entertainment Weekly gave it a great review. If it's repeated, catch it.

I recorded it last night but ended up watching parts of it when it was on instead of playing on the Web since the show caught my attention quite a bit. TV Guide says this was first shown in the United Kingdom in 2003 and had "big ratings". The next showings from Zap2it.com for the Eastern time zone on the Discovery Channel is-

I saw it, I really enjoyed it myself. At first I thought it would be dumb with them using actors portraying the citizens of Pompeii, but when they flashed real artifacts with the actors you really started to see the whole story.
