The episode about the Rain Forest -
Mr. Garrison has the kids sing - Getting Gay With Kids is the name of the song (of the group?)
Here are the lyrics, and why is it called this?

Boys- There's a piece that is magical and full of rain,
Girls-Now it needs help because it is in pain,
Every-Cleaning the earth is a mighty big chore,
We're spreading awareness like never before,
Getting Gay With Kids is here, to spread the word and bring you cheer,

Getting Gay... saving the rainforest... caring about the environment... environmentalist *******... could be called "Gay." It wasn't a particularly funny joke, IMO as much as I love the show. And I wouldn't take it too seriously... this is South Park we're talkin about here.

I'm not in any way offended by it - its a cute song and a funny show - I was just curious if I missed something by Getting Gay With Kids. Was G.A.Y. an acronym for something?
