The best part was the appearance of "Harmony" from Buffy as the mugger's wife.
It took me 5 minutes to figure out who that was! What I want to know is, how can any any street in Boston be that empty for that long? I guess it's not much of a college town.... |
Was it just me, or did the mugger remind you of Keanu Reeves with brown hair doing a Christian Slater accent?
I still can't believe Joey gave the mugger's wife the $500 at the end. Sheesh! But I did like the "Meet Joe Black" scene with the mugger. :) |
Dawson's Creek 2/20
Can somebody fill me in on the first 35 minutes of the show? I wasn't able to tape it and I came home as Jen was talking to the rocker guy on the couch and they were discussing passion or something.
I want as much detail as possible thanks! |
Let's see if I can remember what happened.
Starts off with Joey and Dawson in Joey's dorm watching a movie. They finish and say how nice it is to hang out again and Dawson tells Joey he's glad she's ok after he mugging. He then leaves and the credits roll. After that you have Audrey dancing to music in her room when there is a knock on the door. Pacey arrives and we find out they had sex the same night that Joey was mugged. Audrey feels bad about this so she turns Pacey away when he wants to jump in the sack again. She's trying to tell him that their relationship will not work, but you can tell she wants to be with him as bad as he wants to be with her. Jen comes upstairs and asks Dawson if he's going to change before they go out to some concert where she has to interview the band. He apologizes that he forgot about the concert and he was going to take Joey to some movie premiere to hang out with her. Jen, being the loving woman she is understands and decides to take Audrey with her instead. Joey goes and sees her prof to tell him why she did not come back that Friday night when she was mugged. However, him being the jerk that he really is tells her he doesn't want to know and just thanks her for saving his job and his career. She is rather scoffed that he didn't want to know why and she ends up leaving with there being some bad blood between them. So the night comes, Pacey ends up at Grams house throwing rocks at what he thinks is Jen's window (trying to get the attention of Audrey) but it's actually Jacks' window and jack tells Pacey that they have already left for the night. He invites Pacey to go to a bar with him that doesn't card, and Pacey is sold before Jack can tell him what kind of a bar it is (it's obvious it's a gay bar). Dawson and Joey arrive at the theatre for the movie and see Joey's Prof there with another woman. When they sit down they see the two of them kissing and Joey is visibly upset and confused. Dawson realizes this and finally sees what is reallyg oing on with the innocent girl he has known all his life, who is not so innocent anymore. Joey and the Prof end up going out during the movie to talk in the lobby. He basically tells her that he is trying to make her mad at him and she says it's working. She kisses him when he's not expecting it and tells him that she realizes that they will never work and is ok with it. She then ends up telling Dawson everything and it kind of changes his perspective on her and he realizes he doesn't know as much about her as he thought he did. After the concert Audrey and Jen hook up with the two guys in the band and they head back to the Radio station. Audrey takes the guy with the beard and it's obvious she wants to jump his bones, but he brings out that he has a girlfriend and then ends up talking to her more about relationships and it makes her realize that she does want to be with Pacey. Jen on the other hand is with this guy who she kinda wants to be with, but doesn't want to hurt Dawson. When he really starts to come on strong (with some cheeseball lines I might add) she turns him away. Cut to Pacey talking to some random guy in this gay bar and Jack coming up to him and asking him how long he's been talking to the guy. Come to find out the guy is a food critic and Pacey is trying to get him to write something about the restaurant. Jack informs Pacey the guy might want something in return (like for Pacey to go home with him) and they decide to tell him Pacey is straight. It ends up though that Pacey says him and Jack are dating, to which the guy gives Jack his card and tells him that if they ever break up to call him. Pacey is hurt that he got dissed by a gay guy. The show ends with the band guys leaving and as they pull away Audrey and Jen are standing there and Pacey is across the street waiting for Audrey. She runs to him, they talk about how much they want to be together and then they kiss passionately. Jen goes home to Dawson and curls up next to him and he reassures her that they have passion in their relationship. Show ends... Good show tonight, I like how they worked everybody into the show and how Pacey and Audrey are progressing. They are the highlight of the show now, no doubt. |
Damn. I really missed out on all the good stuff...oh well....Thanks wiz!
|
I enjoyed last night's episode. I'm starting to enjoy Pacey's storyline the most. He is the most interesting/entertaining than the rest of the crew.
It was pretty funny when him and Jack went into the gay bar and acted as a couple in order for Pacey to promote his restaurant to the reviewer guy. BTW, it looked like Jack might have given him a call eventually... |
I knew Joey's teacher was getting written out of the show once I saw that actor on the new NBC show, Leap of Faith.
The Pacey-Jack night out at the gay bar was played for all it was worth. How neurotic is Jen? Audrey and Pacey do have that spark. Joey, Joey, Joey...I'm speechless at the whole Joey-teacher fling. |
DAMN! I missed the episode...and it sounded like a good one...

Dawson's Creek 4/3
Finally, a new episode!
Did anyone else see it? It was pretty good, although I must say Katie Holmes' singing is like fingernails on a chalkboard. It sounds too "kewpie doll" cutesy. (It reminds of the girl's voice in "Cry-Baby.") Having her sing covers of 80's songs like "Jessie's Girl" and "I Ran" is a little too much. Would these college kids now even remember these early 1980's hits? Singing aside, I'm still loving Pacey & Audrey together. Dawson's surprise at coming home was somewhat of a shocker, but to be expected. (His mom had trouble not dating even when she was married, heh.) I am a little disappinted at Jen & Dawson. At first, I thought she was just feeling insecure but then it became apparent she was the one who wanted out. I am not sure I understood her reasoning. |
No one else here watches this show?

I forgot the thing that made me laugh the most.
Although Jack didn't have much to do in this episode, he had a funny line: Jen: Is this a new brand of orange juice? Jack: I think it's "some pulp" instead of "tons of pulp." For some reason, I was rolling at his delivery of that. Pacey also had some good zingers in the car to Charlie. When Charlie was trying to get Pacey to drive faster, I was expecting him to say something cheesy like, "Pick up the pace, -ey." Oh and big geographical error. Since when is any city that is in northern Massachusetts a "six hour" drive from Boston? They originally said they were playing "north of Salem". From Boston to the northern tip of Mass, it's only like an hour or so. |
I wanna know what Audrey did to Pacey in the forest. :D

Dawson's Creek 4/10
About Audrey's "total":
I was #26 ;) |
Sure. [EDIT] I was actually #3. :D
Somebody fill me in on the first few minutes. I got home just as Joey was preparing with Audrey while Audrey was debating whether she was going to tell Pacey about the aforementioned total. |
Originally posted by Kal Jedi Sure. And I was #25. :D The movie critic is a cutie though..... |

Cut to Pacey and Audrey, in Pacey's boss' apartment after a very tiring sexual encounter. This is where the talk about how many sexual partners comes into play. Pacey says she's #7 for him and she doesn't want to tell him. I think then it goes to opening sequence and then to where you came in... |
I would like to be #58.....thank u.
Plus a big way to go Gramms..... |
This episode was fun. I am still loving Pacey & Audrey together.
I got a kick out of Dawson's conversation with the movie critic, although something about her face bugs me. I was laughing at his favorite guilty pleasure movie: "Road House"! And Gramm's got jungle fever! Woo-hoo! I would never thought she'd go inter-racial. I guess she's not as prudish as we think. Very cool. |
What do people think of Meredith Salenger as a potential love interest for Dawson? That woman has got huge tracts of land. :)
Joey's an idiot to go for Charlie. I really hope Jenn doesn't go for Oliver. Poor Jack, all in the cold. |

I loved it when he came to the creening and Oliver was like "how did you get her to come back?" and he just said "I made out with her." Classic. So how is Dawson's film widescreen now? I noticed when they were filming it was 4:3, but on the computer monitor it was widescreen. |
