Kris and Jon are a dynamite team, Lori and Bolo were the competition.
Freddy and Kendra are the next best team now I think and yes adam was such a fuckwit diving into the pool |

Depends on when is the 2 hour finale (if there is going to be a 2 hr finale). In the past the 2 hr finale would have 4 teams, eliminate 1 and then the surviving 3 race home. So, if there's a hour long ep next week then it's most likely non-elim. As for this ep, sad to see Bolo go. He was the only one I was rooting for that was still in the race (Kris/Jon seem too perfect). |
I don't know if anyone has already brought this up, but I found this on IMDB:
On the surface, Jonathan Baker is an eclectic personality, Upon closer examination, however, it comes to light that for years his every endeavor and adventure have all been achieved with the same goal in mind: entertaining people by making their dreams come true. His close involvement with the entertainment industry, as well as his ownership of the #1 rated day spa in the country both served as evidence of that love for realizing dreams. On the entertainment front Jonathan is the owner and founder of Baker Entertainment Group (B. E. G.) a development/production company dealing with all media venues. Operating under a first -look deal with Paramount Pictures through Grosso/Jacobson Productions, Baker has written four screen plays, Carusso's Woman the Romantic story of opera singer Enrico Carusso, Controlling Interest, a high- powered combination of Wall Street and No Way out, Fate, a love story in the Vain of Somewhere in Time splashed with the Sixth Sense and last Icon the story of a musical soul that spawns through three generations until it reaches its true destiny in the ultimate RockStar. Wearing many hats Baker has also written, produced and directed original programing for both cable and the home video market. Through Scuvullo's Eyes a documentary study of the famous fashion photographer, was made by Warner Brothers Studios. Dirty Tennis a comedy starring Dick Van Patten, Nicolette Sheridan and Bruce Jenner aired on HBO and Cinemax and was distributed by Universal Studios, winning the VSDA and the New York Film Festival Award for best new comedy. Baker was also involed in Dorf on Golf a spoof on golf starring Tim Conway. Having studied film at both NYC and USC in his undergraduate years, his entertainment successes are nothing short of hard work filled with lots of dreams. His ownership of a leading day spa, however, can only be attributed to his intense passion for bringing people their fantasies of escape. SkinSpa menu of services reads like a romance novel and why not the movies and the spa industry have the same end result say Baker. SkinSpa is a full service European day spa which under Jonathan Baker's direction, has developed some of the most exotic and unique features anywhere in the world. Jonathan also manages the ART career of his wife and partner Victoria Fuller. Together they have a company that secured the only art licensed contract for the use of the trademarks Playboy Rabbit Head symbol and Bunny Costume from Playboy. There is often no telling where Baker's passion for instilling happiness in others will lead him next, maybe to CBS's The Amazing Race 6 where he will spin one of his many characters into on screen entertainment. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1642866/bio Hmmm.. So was Jonathan's personality just an act? |

IMDb mini-biography by Steven Barron Interesting how "Steven Barron's" ONLY IMDB biography is about Jonathan. Was it just me or did Kris look particularly hot when she was all wet after getting out of the pool. |
I would say this has got to be the prettiest final four this show has had.

Great episode.
I was really dissapointed when I saw L&B eliminated, especially because of a stupid mistake. I really liked them, and I really like Kris. I actually like Rebecca too, despite the headgames she is playing with Adam (she is going to "pretend" to be his girlfriend until the end of the race?). Anyone else for Hayden to fall? |
I didn't like this episode at all. The first 45 minutes were pointless. Plus it sucks that Lori and Bolo were eliminated. I was so hoping that that the crybaby would be sent packing.
|
Some thoughts:
After really liking Hayden initially, I now can not stand her. Aaron needs to keep telling her to shut up. I didn't think it would be possible for Kendra to complain even more than she has, but she continues to amaze me. Freddy isn't too bad of a guy, but I really hope they lose soon. My admiration for Rebecca keeps growing, while my contempt for Adam is seemingly limitless. He may be the most unworthy contestant ever on this show. Is there anything he can do? And has there ever been a final four where almost all of the teams had one completely terrible member? I missed last season, so I don't know. Especially given how bad some of the remaining people are, I was disappointed to see Lori and Bolo go. Their deficiencies finally caught up to them, but I really would have liked to see them make it to the final two or three. Question though, could Bolo have run the ticket back up to Lori once he realised that she needed it? Oh well, here's hoping for a dominant victory by Kris and what's his name. Groucho, I don't believe I could buy enough alcohol to play that drinking game. For the love of god would some editor please edit that damn word out of the show? |
None of the remaining teams are all that appealing to me. Since everyone has a hard-on for K&J, I've decided that is whom I am rooting against. They're too sugary sweet, or maybe that is just the good-guy edit. ;)
The worst 'baby' talk came a few weeks back on that rock climb. |

Hayden and Kendra both bitch a lot, but they do contribute to the team. |

Hayden and Kendra both bitch a lot, but they do contribute to the team. While Flo was really bad, I think Adam is up there with her. Point taken though that she may have been the worst. However, the other teams in that Race were all much more complete teams than what we have left. Hadyden and Kendra may not negatively affect their teams all of the time, but they really don't contribute all that much either. They both are always the weakest link on their teams. At any rate, I am severely annoyed with both of their personalities and constant bitching. Maybe that disdain is coloring my judgement too much? |

The worst 'baby' talk came a few weeks back on that rock climb. I've never been a huge Kris/John fan, but who else is there to actually root for now? I would like to see Rebecca win in spite of Adam, to overcome that huge obstacle, but is that worth it to see him win as well? I suppose I could live with a Hayden/Aaron win, but wouldn't be too thrilled by it. |
Kris is hot and nice. None of the other girls possess those characteristics, so it is easy for me to root for her.
As for the guys, they could all randomly switch teams next week and I wouldn't know, aside from Hellboy. |
I don't think Kris is hot. She has a very nice rack and is cute, but she does not rise to the level of hotness. Now Kendra is hot. But as said, she ain't nice. :)
|
I think it's interesting that for the second week in a row, a team lost for not reading the directions. Ha ha!
|
Sad to see B & L go :( The only person I'm rooting for is Kris

Decent episode. I'm glad to see Lori go. Her screaming was getting annoying.
I think that my problem with this season is that none of the remaining teams really give out the one liners that were so great in the previous seasons. |

LB: Either that, or next week a team gets eliminated. We then have three teams in the two hr finale (and yes its a two hour finale once again! Feb 8th-9:00 pm ET to 11:00 pm ET), they race to the first rest stop, noone gets eliminated but maybe theres a special prize for finishing first. Maybe one of those charter things where the first team gets to leave a half-hour in front of the other two teams. Then the last hour or so, its a race to the finish. Yea, I'm sad to see Lori/Bolo go as well as a wrestling fan, I was pulling for them to win. (Also they were one of the teams I had in my "Amazing Race Pool" I have with my friends. Now I'm down to Rebecca and Monkey Boy!) Too bad they had to screw up with the "ticket" as the race across the pool would have been more interesting with all four teams battling to see who would be lone team being eliminated. Someone asked if Bolo could have ran the ticket up to Lori. Since that was a "Roadblock" where only one person could do the task, I think there would have been a penalty if he did it. It would have definate giving them an unfair advantage as it would have eliminated a few minutes of Lori having to come back down, getting the ticket and then going back up. Even if that gave Lori/Bolo first place or second place, any time penalty would have definiately put them in last place as the teams behind them would have landed at the pit stop before the time penalty ran out. (And you figure the penalty would have been at the very least 30 mins-like Hayden/Aaron (?) got for losing/taking another clue.) LB... |
